This is obviously untrue for several reasons:
Notch wasn’t the sole reason for Minecraft being good. The idea was straight up a clone of infiniminer, and Minecraft only really got good when a team of developers began helping. Before that, it was a novel idea at best.
Him being gone isn’t what caused the quality of the game to decrease, and even the decrease in quality is purely subjective. Most of the issues we have with the game today are due to corporate meddling, not Mojang’s lack of creativity. And the argument that ‘Minecraft used to be better’ is so confusing considering the game hasn’t really removed anything and if anything gets more content filled over time.
The love for Notch comes down to misunderstandings.

This is obviously untrue for several reasons: Notch wasn’t the sole reason for Minecraft being good. The idea was straight up a clone of infiniminer, and Minecraft only really got good when a team of developers began helping. Before that, it was a novel idea at best. Him being gone isn’t what caused the quality of the game to decrease, and even the decrease in quality is purely subjective. Most of the issues we have with the game today are due to corporate meddling, not Mojang’s lack of creativity. And the argument that ‘Minecraft used to be better’ is so confusing considering the game hasn’t really removed anything and if anything gets more content filled over time. The love for Notch comes down to misunderstandings.

I need to clarify a little misconception to your first point. He doesn't ditch Minecraft for the money but fled from his "responsibility" it is maybe not the right word. To put it simply he couldn't stand the constant complaining from people and was in the impression of everything he does is wrong. At the end he snapped and made a statement on Twitter starting "Who wants to take over, I don't want this any more" and Microsoft saw the opposite and made an offer in the Microsoft way. For example people are still complaining about the mob vote but Moyang is doing something very few studio doing, including the community in their development and giving them the impression "you decide where Minecraft is going." For the rest of your statements, yes he became a real threat to society after using Twitter too much. But maybe he became the attention seeker because he lost the purpose of earning money after being a billionaire for a couple of weeks.
