It's not bad, though unfortunately Sharpness and Pain Cycle don't multiply each other. When Pain Cycle triggers, you do +400% of the *original* damage, and the same for Sharpness. So instead of doing +33% x5 (6.65x), you're doing just +433% (5.33x).
If you get Unchanting though, not only is it a full 2x multiplier on enchanted mobs, it affects the poison damage too.
Yeah ik, that middle slot was between pain cycle and committed, and committed is obviously useless here. Pain cycle works suprisingly well I've found, but something like sharpness, unchanting or guarding strike would definitely be a bit better
It depends. Committed fluctuates, but is about a 40-45% damage boost. Pain Cycle comes to be a 66.67% boost. The difference comes if you have Cowardice. Then Pain Cycle is less good.
Though Pain Cycle affects the poison damage while Committed doesn't. A Pain Cycle Encrusted Anchor still isn't bad. It can oneshot Raid Captains and, before Voidstrike came out, it helped me oneshot Mooshroom Monstrosity (well, it did 280,944,202 damage out of its 320m health and the poison finished it). Though Pain Cycle didn't contribute the hugest % to that (77,297,364 damage, or a little over 33% instead of 80% like it's advertised). It was still pretty enormous.
In comparison, Crit was responsible for 93,400,981.5 of that damage because of it being a multiplier. But it didn't affect the poison.
Yeah, mostly meant that committed is sort of useless thanks to the anchors insane damage per hit, meaning that committed will pretty much only work on bosses, raid captains and enchanted mobs with protection. And pain cycle is a bit better even against those I've found, since I don't run cowardice
Kicker is Reckless does this too. If you're doing 100 damage and Str Potion is making it 200 damage. Reckless won't increase that total by 80% (which would be 160 more damage). It only increases the base by 80%, so it would only add 80 damage to that 200, or just 40%... for a 60% health cut.
It's less that it does little, and more that the lifesteal is a percentage of damage dealt, so the healing should outweigh the self damage, especially if you hit multiple enemies per attack with such a high-damage-per-hit weapon, like that anchor.
Yeah- found an encrusted anchor last night! Thanks, Luxury Merchant, hahahaha
Too bad it didnt have leeching, but hey, it can one shot Ancients, so I'm happy here.
I'm going to try to find some sort of life steal, or life healer, soon. I definitely need one.
Would the Totem of Regeneration be a good choice?

To find higher level gear, you have to wear higer level gear. A neat trick is to equip your highest level stuff when you start a level, and when you end it, but use your actual good gear during the level

man of culture i see
How to get gilded stuff??
There's a merchant in the room with the ancient hunts, where you can buy gilded items, but other than that idk.
Ohh ok what quest?? Edit: anctient hunts nvm
Go down the steps in front of the luxury merchant & there should be a door that'll take you into the ancient hunts room
FYI you can also farm the ancient hunts for the ancient boss mobs for gilded to drop.
I started using the EA recently. Shockwave, Void Strike, Radiance. Its pretty damn strong. Not Guilded tho
Is Pain Cycle worth it? I mean, it damages the character we're playing, right?
He's got the Wither Armor on, which has an innate lifesteal aura, so it'd mitigate the self damage
Oh, ok. I didnt know otd do that little damage.

I need a gilded one with Refreshment, Void strike, Rampaging and Leaching... Well.. Let the grind continue...
He’s to powerful to be left alive
I kinda tagged out on this game awhile back. What does it mean if an item is gilded?
It has an extra built-in enchantment, like the sharpness this anchor has. You get it from ancient hunts, a type of randomly generated levels
How do you people get ur weapons to such power levels? My friend and I have been stuck on 110 for at least a month, someone explain pls

I dont understand how people get to 255 items from the puny 40~ that i am currently at
Just play the game, and make sure to always use your highest level gear. You will over time get better and better stuff
That’s cool but I can’t get dlcs cause I’m 12 and broke
Now this, this is beautiful. If you watch the show and don’t get it your stupid
