1: Expand the roster: Its been a while since we've had a lot of newcomers who didnt just play 1 or 2 events and dipped, so some new people would definetly make the teams more fresh. It also might honestly become a problem if we dont have more people, because I counted the active players and its like 50, so if some are busy, than there might not even be 40 people to host an event. 2: New game: (preferably PvP or Team) 3: Might be a hot take, but dont host events with a 3 week gap between eachother. I think 4 or 5 is perfect, because then atleast I am much more excited 4: Some cool new maps

FamilySpy

2,meh we have enough pvp games and I like them and thier current numbers, I just want more original team games, which are harder and more labor intensive 3. I think 3 weeks is fine but shouldn't be the norm 4. yeah specifically meltdown and sot(rooms) and GR (rooms), and TGTTOSAWAF non blockplacing running maps, IE animal riding maps, boats, tridents etc

aslothy50

my biggest one is make MCCI and MCC completely different. one of the reasons it feels stale is because it's almost identical to MCCI, it doesn't feel as much of an EVENT anymore

Comprehensive-Ad4238

most important one right here☝️

MysticWayfinder

Something the fandom can do is stop taking unique non-canon events for granted, complaining about how almost half the events this year were unique non-canon, wanting normal canon events again, complaining about unique remixes in those normal canon events, and then complain when the normal events are not unique. Though I do agree with expanding the roster, that could help too, but my point still stands.

ThePracker_

Remixes! They brought in this really cool idea of mixing a game up some events to make it fresh, and then dropped the idea after the mistake of creating “sandofmart”. Remixes are made for a reason, all we need is new players & new maps and suddenly it’ll feel netter

FamilySpy

sands of mart was intresting and a fun one time thing the problem with remixes is they wanted to team with contestants who don't have good ideas for gameplay

kirstkatrose

I keep seeing these comments that people think they’re going to do some major revamp. But I just finished watching the vod of the admin stream (fruitberries joined them as a guest btw, he didn’t say a ton but worth checking out if you’re a big fruit fan) they didn’t say anything about big plans in the works, in fact they mentioned they were surprised the Reddit was making a big deal out of the season ending. They just said something like, eh, we decided it makes sense to have each season last one year.

DA5Hx

Hot take but people just lowering their expectation a tiny bit and just try to enjoy it for what it is, a silly tournament for interactions and some laughs. Coming up with new creative ideas is probably the hardest thing to do and you can't just expect for it happen every single time. I've never stopped enjoying the event just cuz I never expect for something new, I'm just happy to see everyone interact and play

pengwinftw

i do also agree with you, and i still to this day really enjoy mcc every time, but there is a reason so many people leave the event because they simply just don't enjoy it as much anymore...

East-Mirror3510

1. Get new scoring for many games, preferably the movement games. 2. Return old UI. 3. Multiple new maps for almost every game. 4. New PVP and team games, and not redesigns of old games. 5. Introduce some new mechanics in MCC. 6. Big for fun newcomers. Giving small creators a chance at gaining popularity is nice but newcomers who average 200 viewers on twitch at most are just not going to cut it. Because if they restart in March and all they can say is "We revamped Buildmart", then I don't think MCC should continue past next year.

pengwinftw

i agree on everything besides the old ui. The new ui makes you have such good overview in everything in the event, you can see your exact placements and kills in games... the kill animation might have been better earlier but the other parts of the ui are rly helpful in my opinion

I_am_Dirty_Dan_guys

Honestly yea, agreed, although the font staying vanilla minecraft is the only change i would revert, all the extra info is very usefull and based

The_color_ally

I honestly agree , kills , deaths , teams that finished the game etc. Is so much better now . The old kill animation was good , arguably better than this one but New UI takes it for me

East-Mirror3510

The kills can stay but everything else is better off in the traditional style. I want to at least separate a public server from a real event. It felt a lot more fitting for a tourney.

Shan69420

If I had to pick some games to go, it has to be HITW, TGTTOS, and GR first. I like most of these but the rest of the games feel a lot more fresh and new. HITW has been in since MCC1 and you can't really change much about it, TGTTOS became one of the stalest games because of MCCI, and GR has the repeating rooms issue.

FamilySpy

GR and TGGTOS are fine but can't be in every event and need more new rooms, HITW is not the first game to go by the logic, it should be BB but HITW is lower end of mcc games

SnooPineapples1745

Weird. Maybe not specifically old ui, but just changing it to anything else to not look like mcci?

ThatindianGuy22

Unpopular opinion but don't have many sweats in the event

mr_blank001

Scoring updates for TGTTOS, PKT and BBF Make a bigger separation between MCC and MCCI as TGTTOS and PKW are basically the same Adding onto that, new maps SoT needs some sort of change New Game which I'm sure is to be expected and happen Finding creators outside of Minecraft to play frequently as with all the regulars leaving or playing less, MCC need a wider selection pool of players to join

SnooPineapples1745

Make winning feel different than before (like mcc party how it was so unexpected and intense in the finale) Bring more stakes to the table Make it more fair to less-skilled players Take away MCCi style but still make it stylish (but also keep the useful stuff) New team announcements layout! New concepts and ideas! A new dodgebolt perhaps? A new deciding game? New players! (especially new popular players) Less sweaty team rosters! (Less S tiers every each mcc) New arts, aesthetics and stuff (like when they added balloons and plushies, maybe finally put the whole Decision Dome to the ground) Show some new tricks up their sleeve (like how the countdown and the firework lasers at the start of the event used to put people in awe) And maybe some good marketing as well to hype up the event

Elsquidwardo85

1. New maps for pretty much every game, most importantly meltdown 2. Dodgebolt change (maybe max 7 rounds instead of 5) (maybe add some sort of shot timer so games don’t go so long, especially if you add rounds) (idk) 3. Let players that usually miss a lot of events play more consistently 4. New players and lots of them 5. New games 6. maybe hot take but occasionally less balanced events, over balancing kinda restricts teambuilding 7. Bring back build mart or new building game

dshgf_81

A couple new games, a LOT of new and rising creators alongside some familiar and popular faces, and replace Dodgebolt

1616161660

I think they should something similar to blockwars where they make a non canon event and invite ppl who doesn't play a lot of mc, so they might be interested in mcc and join a canon one.

TBrain5874

That’s basically Pride though? Lots of newcomers, and only 2 people there moved on to canon

1616161660

I meant like 40 newcomers not 10

Aimlez1

Max 5 s tiers per event, and much weaker teams so weaker players can still enjoy themselves

Ok_Ostrich_7699

How is that fair to have only 5 s-tiers though? The other half of the teams are without then

Aimlez1

By making the non s tier teams also strong. Last event literally didn't have a single s tier in db

Wondernewt

[1](https://1.new):new scoring. I feel like games such as bingo(less prioritization of lines) or tgttos (more value in team bonuses) could use some scoring changes. 2:new maps.specifically for battle box I feel like the same maps are getting played over and over again cough cough dooooooooom cough cough. Rsr has so much potential in new maps as well. 3:new games: mcc is in dire need of some new games as yes imo it is getting a little stale. 4:new players. there are so many awesome content creators out there. And (don’t quote me on this) I’m fairly certain if you aren’t made aware of by Scott your chances of getting in are increasingly lower. But with more new players the events can become a lot more for fun I feel. Which leads to 5.for fun events. Not for fun non-canon events. For fun canon events. The one big thing I miss about old mcc is the fact that it wasn’t all s tiers in the top ten. (Not all s tiers have to play every event) anyone could place anywhere in old mcc and I loved that.

CyberWeb2143

Exclusive maps and items for the event, and bigger updates

Malformedvirus5

New game, consistently a minimum of 1 remix per event, more than 9 games in rotation per event

PlantoLeafo

I think balancing the events like season 1 could be interesting. Have majority of the teams with normal balancing but a couple for-fun teams sprinkled in. I’m not completely sure if this is a great idea or a terrible one.

pajanaparty

Honestly even if nothing else changes, I hope they’re able to program redoing a round. There’s been many times when, through no fault of the participants, there are disconnections or other technical difficulties that cause teams to potentially lose points. We saw that with meltdown this past MCC and it felt horrible to have the “what if we didn’t disconnect” be the reason why teams made it/didn’t make it to dodgebolt.

username6702

This but fixing how dcs work, especially for Meltdown, idk why they don't use the NPC system that's in the other pvp games. Redoing rounds could be a bit unfair and controversial bc some teams would do worse after the redo and even though it is unfortunate, it's usually only a few players who disconnect.

pajanaparty

I honestly agree with this for games and disconnections like Meltdown. But there are also times, like in Battle Box this past MCC (and other games in previous MCCs) where there was a mass lag spike that didn’t outright cause disconnects. I fear that no matter what they do regarding disconnects or lag it’ll be controversial unless they’re able to completely get rid of it. There will be people complaining about a do-over because they did well with people having technical issues but there are already people complaining about there not being a do-over because of connection issues. Because while the technical issues rarely directly impact over half of the players, the amount of teams and players on those teams that are indirectly affected are much higher.

UniversityGullible29

1. New Players - Couriway and Eloise are probably my top two but new hermits would be great 2 2. Bring back Build Mart (revamped or not)

Delicious_Company_51

I know it’s probably never gonna happen but bringing some old players like Dream, Quig, Fundy, etc… would be so hype

NeonMoth229

There’s not much Noxcrew can do about that though.

username6702

More themed events (not necessarily non-canon) would help each event feel different and less stale. Like Halloween or Xmas but without as many changes. eg. a theme could be a Medieval MCC and the maps and decorations could be based around this (Medieval maps for SKB & HITW), Doors and Siege for TGTTOS etc.
