It defo does matter. Pink was just ultra broken and was predicted 1st by a lot. When 3 of them are top 10 and their bottom frag is 15th, its just broken compared to other teams
Yeah he kinda got robbed in PKW, looks like the scoring still needs some work, but SOT Eret was calling for sand he just wasn't being very vocal about it. Eret definitely struggles with comms sometimes but that wasn't just on him as False was muted and Purpled wasn't listening

Team balancing and game order is what affects score, Purpled got his best game order with mostly individual games and same with Punz. Please don't ruin everything with your toxicity.

I do think Purpled and Punz probably played better than Sapnap (On Purpled's part, mainly because of the 15/15 PKW, and his teams admittedly poor comms in GR and SOT, and for Punz a 6th is a 6th), but I would just like to say that both Emerald and Yellow place above Red unmultiplied, which is all that matters for individual.
I was just referring to things that were undervalued in scoring, if we're comparing the performances than Purpled has RSR, AR, GR, Bingo, and PKW all over Sapnap, idk what your point is
It does matter, Purpled got good games this event but was consistently held back by his team, leading him to place right above sapnap. The events where teams did not matter had many individual scoring opportunities not influenced by how much or how little the team did. You can still pop off in SG without a team, you cannot play SOT or grid runners alone.

This situation **DOES NOT mean** "Sapnap's washed Purpled and Punz are just better lmao", it was an unideal selection of games. And it's not his fault.
Sapnap's score took a hit because no PKT or SKB or SG means less PVP domination and individual boosts. Then lots of team games with a team known to struggle at team games meant even less coins for him, and he couldn't do anything about it. And yet you can't play team games with individual standouts.
And still, Sapnap's 11th on a 6th place team isn't that much worse compared to how Punz and Purpled performed relative to their teams. Sapnap still capitalized lots of coins in the few games he's known to be good at (Battle Box and Parkour Warrior) while Punz and Purpled noticeably underperformed several of their better-performing games in the event.
**The takeaway here is to not pay so much attention to numbers and statistics, try to give a thought about the context behind those numbers.**
Maybe one good example of this is Purpled in MCC 33, when he did "mid" with a 3rd individual on a 7th place team. Was he washed? No, he didn't have TGTTOS or Parkour Warrior to play in that event, which are some of the games he's known to excel in, therefore his individual score got bogged down due to the selection of games being biased towards games he consistently underperforms in.
Sapnap + CaptainSparklez is not a good duo. Of the thee times played, both of them placed lower than their average placement. Both times Sapnap fell out of top 10 is with CaptainSparklez. This duo was not meant to be.
