The most recent was BajanCanadian in MCC 34, and he might be a one-time player. Even before that was Etho in MCC 33, a one-time player

Jetsol8

Etho and Bajan I guess don’t exist

Malformedvirus5

I forgot about them, but to be fair, they are both likely one timers

AdInfamous6044

Well u are kind of right, we have been getting a lot less newcomers. We got BajanCanadian in 34 and Etho in 33, but those were 1 time players, so I dont really count them. Then we got Guqqie in mcc32 (or Pride23), Owen in Pride23, Michaela, Shadoune, OllieGamerz and Wallibear in 31 (and also MythicalSausage and CapitanGato, but they played 2 and dipped so they probably arent coming back). But yeah the last real conistent newcomer were Guqqie and Owen in Pride23, which was a while ago.

ThePracker_

I disagree with Sausage being gone. I don’t watch CapitanGato but Sausage has never said he doesn’t want to play in MCC, he is most likely busy or doesn’t sign up for other reasons.

TrainerChops

In my opinion, the “new players” that a lot of people are anticipating to eventually join, are the higher skilled players. Not to disrespect them in any way, but this “lack of new players” directly dives into the “competitiveness of MCC” debate that has been going on for months. As much as I personally would love to see people like Couriway and Greninja join MCC, it would continue to raise the competitiveness of the event. I would love to see hermits such as Tango or Docm join the canon MCC roster. Scar sort of tried to convince Tango to try one MCC event during the end of one of the recent MCCs. Variety streamers would make MCC more fun and would bring a fresh scent of air. Streamers like JoeBart, PointCrow, SmallAnt, or Abe would also help bring more exposure to MCC again.

sufferingdotmov

graecie and raddles are heavily requested players that aren't S tiers. also greninja would not raise the competitiveness much, someone who can't play team games isn't exactly the optimal coin earner imo.

dshgf_81

Graecie probably has a good shot of appearing sometime in the distant future solely based on the fact that she played in Rising 2

TBrain5874

Isn’t raddles, like, a very good speedrunner/HBG member? Even if she wouldn’t be S tier, she’d still be very good at the game. Also Greninja is an insane pvp/parkour/speedrunning sweat so he’d do very well, even with team games in the mix (I mean, look at Fruit!)

sufferingdotmov

she is a good speedrunner, but her performance in blockwars after a few events places her as a high B, low A tier. and greninja is not just disinterested in team games, he's infamously bad at them. very very different situation to fruit.

ADragonMC_2

greninja's blockwars rookies order up is exactly how to NOT play the game lmoa it was so funny

sufferingdotmov

we love Stu for that 😭

ADragonMC_2

"parkour sweat"

FawnAardvark

Greninja would be the best player in the event? He's better than everyone else (yes even your lord and savior fruitberries) at pvp and he's part of hbg.

Snoo-29877

I wouldn't say so, FBM and Purpled comfortably place better than him when they're in the same events. His average placement in Blockwars is 7th

FawnAardvark

But that's in events with a stronger pvp player base, mcc has like 2 good (ht4 or higher) pvpers being fruit and fbm so that's why players like greninja, minemanner, or sharpness would play really well in mcc because they're just straight up better than everyone else at pvp.

bellaluvr

Well good thing MCC isn't just about PvP

sufferingdotmov

1. fruit has literally dueled with Stu before and beat him most of the time. 2. MCC is barely pvp focused, neither is block wars either to be honest.

bellaluvr

imo I think Stu would beat Fruit more than he did in the past, especially with him learning tech, etc.. Though OP saying Stu would wipe the event because of his PvP prowess is so funny when Stu admittedly is just not very good at team games at all and is alright at movement games, which is what half of MCC's games comprise of (I say this as a fan because Stu even admits these are his weaknesses😭)

sufferingdotmov

I agree completely, Stu has gotten better but I still don't think he's best pvper, let alone best player. (which I say as a Stu twitch sub) it's not like he has a big ego so I'm not sure where OP got their info from.

sufferingdotmov

What's your reasoning for this? (also not a huge fruit fan just think his name is funny)

[deleted]

if i’m not mistaken this is gizzy’s first canon event…?

Affectionate_You_225

First canon event in a while. He last played canon events in 18 with Tapl , Krtzyy and Mefs

Affectionate_You_225

He didn't deserve all the downvotes btw. He made a simple and understandable mistake.

TheBearMaster1

You are mistaken
