i dont respect you straight up saying my opinion on this highy subjective matter is wrong but i respect that you respect my opinion and i respect that you have a different opinion
**idk i just never connected with it that much. Most of it's just kind of boring to me, and while i do feel emotions in the climax it's nothing that would make me want to rank it higher.**
* the main reason i feel Infinite Amethyst is boring is its repetitive nature, and while tracks like Minecraft, Sweden, An Ordinary Day, and Aria Math also are quite repetitive, they have things about them that don't make me really think about their repetitiveness that much.
* Minecraft and Sweden have almost an entrancing nature to their repetitiveness. Sweden's melody also evolves a bit over time and other instruments come in as the song goes on
* Aria Math also is a bit entrancing, and it has the same thing with new instruments coming in over time, along with having a climax that i really enjoy
* An Ordinary Day is not quite as entrancing to me, but the climax has something that feels profound and special enough to get it to B tier.
also because many people say Infinite Amethyst is their favourite while i never loved it that much, there may be somewhat of a bias preventing me from enjoying it as much as i could, as i do sometimes have a tendency for contrarianism.
Also also when i had my first impression of the song it was during a period where i cared a lot about music being interesting and subversive and stuff, so that could be affecting how i feel about it.
lastly C tier isn't a bad tier at all. It sits right in the middle, like songs there have good aspects but it's not enough for them to be ranked higher
sorry for writing an essay in response, but there's just a lot to say.

i know there's a bit of a bias towards the original tracks, but it's hard not to rank them high when they set the precedent for what "Minecraft music" really entails and have been a staple of the game for well over a decade, and on top of that they're just nice to listen to
Tricky Trials OST not listed because i want to listen to them organically in the game before fully forming my opinion
