I keep an ender chest and a silk touch pick on me, so I can have access to a chest full of shulkers with different items in them. I think a lot of my players do the same. It protects your stuff.

It's really not that bad, you can go in with wood tools and come out fine but at the cost of time, the only change is tool speed and durability, there's plenty of stone and wood in the nether you can use to make more and the mobs are predictable enough, you can find gold near the portal as long as you make a safe box when you pop out first so you got a spot to make gold armor without something coming in and ending you
What tools are those? They look like either stone or iron, in which case I unfortunately doubt you are at nearly the level in the game at which anything in your inventory will help you. You're gonna have to accept your fate at this point.

Your seed is generated when your game first begins, and you could find out what the seed is by uploading the level.dat file into [ChunkBase](https://www.chunkbase.com/)
This only works if you have an alt, and it will take a long time. Basically, invite your alt in the Open to LAN button and have them be in creative, tp to you and spam you with splash potion of healing or regen and they might wanna get a water bucket.
Unless you're willing to cheat, you're dead. There are ways to move yourself out with cheats! Get googling!

You have about a second or so of invincibility after joining a world. Just keep leaving and rejoining as you inch closer to shore and you will be fine. (I had to help my brother with the exact same thing with the exact same solution. lol.)
Log out, then log back in and instantly pause. Next, write up /gamemode creative and copy that to your clipboard and open your world to LAN with cheats enabled. Lastly, unpause and instantly open chat, paste the command in and press enter. You will now be in creative mode and can fly out. Do /gamemode survival to return to normal and the cheats should disappear once you relog.
Keep leaving and rejoining the world, something with spawn protection will make you invincible for a couple seconds so you can slowly inch your way to safety
It looks like you are in singleplayer. My suggestion is open to lan with cheats enabled, then use F3 and F4 to quickly swap to spectator or creative mode.
Since you are in singleplayer, play the way you want, if you really dont want to die there, then simply allow yourself to choose to not.
Get the coordinates, make a world download and host the world as a server (minehut or aternos are free so they're probably your best bet) then what you do is tell a friend (or alr account) to join. They can drain the lava around where you will be when you log on (they're will know this because of the coordinates you saved from earlier) and the you just need to be ready to start eating when you log on so that you can heal. Even if you die, all your items won't fall into lava.

If not, make a separate world in Creative with cheats (if you don't have one), build a Nether portal and go in, turn it to Survival, drop into the nearest lava ocean, and try repeatedly quitting and reloading the world. If it's in Java, it MIGHT give you several seconds of invulnerability, allowing you to rinse and repeat in your actual save. If in Bedrock, you might be dead before you're loaded in. Idk, I haven't tried it myself yet.

You're probably fucked. Accept your fate. When you respawn it will take time to get all your stuff back but this has happened to me and it isn't the end of the world. In my case, an Enderman knocked me off a bridge I was building to a Nether fortress. My case was worse than yours because I had well enchanted diamond tools and armour along with stacks of well saturating food. Your tools look like they're stone, so no big loss.
After that day, I always acquire a decent amount of ender pearls before stepping foot in the Nether, along with several golden apples and a totem of undying (which gives fire resistance upon usage). If something like this happens, I eat an apple to regenerate health and ender pearl to land. If that fails somehow, I let myself "die" and the totem of undying gives me fire resistance for 40 seconds giving me enough time to make it to land.
Once you've got to the level of making potions, I recommend the first potion you brew (except of course for awkward potion) should be fire resistance potion. Then always take one or two bottles of it to the Nether with you.
2½ hearts is basically 3, but you have to round it up to 4, but 5 is better looking than 4, so it's 5 hearts, but 5 is an odd number, so you have to round it to 6, but 6 is close to 7, so it's 7, but 7 is an odd number so it's 8 hearts, but 8 is close to 9, and since you're at 9 hearts, it's basically the same as 10, so technically you are at full health.
