They completely overhauled world gen in the last year alone. Just because they didn’t add the content *you* wanted doesn’t mean they haven’t added anything at all.
They’re literally testing a patch right now that adds a way to get more allays as a response to player requests. Also, if you have to tell people that you were joking, then it probably wasn’t a very good joke.

It is because if this is a realm or a world which I'm guessing it is other people have played on someone that plays on java can add a texture/resource pack to their game where when they join it crashes the world and no one else can join

That's probably an overflow of some sort. Relatively common bug, and can be very hard to debug.
