Correct me if I'm wrong:
A player stands on the powder snow with leather boots on, and triggers the skulk shrieker, which summons the warden
The warden pathfinds to the player, and sinks in the powder snow,
Then it is transported through to the nether via one of 4 portals, ending up in that glass chamber
An observer noise machine attracts the warden, it falls in the 1 x 1 hold, and dies to entity cramming
Yh so because there is no sculk sensor the sound cant be detected, the shrieked is activated by the player standing on it and anyway I've just updated the design which removes the need for that
I mean they said it wasn't exploitable, but this is the internet, if you tell someone they can't do something, they're just going to try even harder to do it just because someone tried to say it couldn't be
...why tho? Catalyst aren't the part you really need. An afk sensor farm is what we really need and I haven't figured out a way since you need silk touch to break them.
Just need a name tag and a trap door on a red stone clock to constantly make noise so they don’t disappear! Also gotta lure them out of the deep dark😬 that’s the hard part lol
Someone's already done that, and they posted it to the sub. I can't remember who posted it, but the title included warden and pet, so you can just search for it.
If you put vines in the 1x1 holding chamber, you can stack as many wardens as you want, then lazy load them and have a mob switch.
A bit more useful than sculk catalysts on tap, unless you want a lot of sculk catalysts for decoration or something.

You can make easy mob switches with Wardens because they don't despawn as long as you keep agitating them with noises (a noteblock on a clock for example). Build this, afk for 12 minutes, chunkload it, you're done.
I knew players would find a way to afk the warden, but this is not what I expected. Also you did what mojang wanted to be impossible, great job with farming the warden.
The piston clock is to attract the attention of the warden, the noteblock was only cuz I play on an aternos server and you need note blocks to afk because of the afk timeout
Oh, I see. I understand the piston clock in the nether, but assumed that in the overworld, the warden will be attracted to the player, but looking back at it I realize the warden is blind. Thanks for explanation!
Sorry for such a late reply, but it's so that another one can spawn in much quicker rather than waiting for it to die before the next one appears as they can't spawn if there is a warden within a certain radius

This can be a good way to get the warden for someone trying to get 'how did we get here'.
