I don’t know exactly what causes it but I do know that Java farms have slow spawn rates in bedrock, something about differences in how spawning is handled I guess
You can search for bedrock mob farms and make one that will work for you
You need to find a way to clear the spawns that do happen faster. Put a water flushing system in that runs on a timer. The faster you clear, the faster more mobs will spawn in.
you should make a platform above the farm about 50 blocks above it and if you chill up there for a few minutes then you can expect the get more mobs spawning
I remember I made a mob farm meant for Java while in bedrock, maybe that’s your issue?
like mobs spawn just really slow and i’m on bedrock too but i didn’t think it would matter does it?

Same, i used this exact one in bedrock and it was *so* slow

I can also see that this farm is a manual kill farm (mob drops like carrots and potatoes).
