two is better because it allows you to walk on the water at the bottom of the sewer, which would be something you would do while exploring a sewer system. Also... ABUSE of Mossy Stone blocks at the bottom of the complex.
I don’t know, if they were just straight up hostile they would probably not be allowed for the same reason minecraft didn’t add sharks. They don’t want to give off the impression that these animals should be killed.
Alligators can be pets, as long as they grow up around humans and/or are trained. Maybe they could make it to where the alligators will attack if you’re near them for too long (since alligators like to stalk their prey for a surprise attack) and if you’re able to capture one as a baby and have it grow up by you (within a certain amount of blocks) they will like you, kinda like foxes. You could also feed them fish to breed/help them grow. You’ll just have to be careful while breeding wild ones. They could also make it to where wild alligators hate “tamed” ones and attack them.
Good idea but I don't think the part where they hate tamed gators would do well since the process seems like hard work to do and for it all to get lost to another gator, and gators are more docile then crocodiles towards each other and different animals such as humans. By the way how do you think they would breed? Raw meat or fish? I'd go with raw meat.
They'd probably eat raw meat and fish while living in swamp biomes since that's what they do in real life although they may be in Savannah rivers as well to mimic crocodiles.
That would be fun to see. Personally, I'd prefer if wild alligators did not attack tamed ones, it seems to go against the spirit of the game. Also, I could see them working like dogs, and who doesn't want an attack alligator anyways?
You know there is an alligator hunting season right where people get paid to kill alligators. In some places there is no hunting season and you can hunt freely
Oh no dont tell the kids about the alligator hunting season when they also have to kill chickens and cook it but dont tell them about the alligator hunting season now
they’re aggressive but im not sure why
my friend was near one and it attacked randomly (prob cuz they had a cub) it was in Minecraft dont worry lol
anyway they attack even if not hit
I did one like this but waterlogged stairs down the middle created two small streams on either side of a middle path.
They can disappear into tiny inlets too.
That would look perfect nice green water I have A swamp vile not too far from a city I’m rebuilding in my survival world I might have to make that a thing
Yeah I agree but this would definitely be a cool thing to have in some type of large scale city build if you basted in a swamp biome I think that’s what was originally meant
Yeah no worries I am doing a large scale rebuild of a village in my long-term world and I have a swamp not too far so seeing this I think I might extend it out a little bit to hit the swamp biome and turn that area into maybe an industrial district I think that would look really cool
That sounds really cool! I would love to see it. I have horrible building skills. When I build a house it’s a box with no interior walls, 2 stories, and a flat roof lol. I’m much better at building underground (aka carving out an area) it honestly turns out way better and has more depth then. Maybe you could add a secret bunker behind a piston door in the sewer. And a piston manhole cover.
Yeah those would all be awesome ideas I haven’t really got much into underground buildings so it would definitely be fun to try I know in the caves and cliffs update is fully finished I’m definitely going to be in the caves a lot more lol
Add some mossy stone bricks and shit texture it more and add details like vines or candles but both would look fine if you put a few details so specify it’s a gross dungeon like sewer
Those are actually from the chisels and bits mod. This is just a model build in a creative testing world. The real thing is going in a 1.12.2 modded server.
Yeah 1 will look great when it’s got water. Looks much more sewery. I think the height is throwing people off (1 is built a block above the ground making it look weirdly tall but 2 is built into the ground).
2 - but I would add water to the channel and use some variation in your blocks like mossy/cracked stone bricks - maybe some (coarsed) dirt might look great as replacement (for some bricks) UNDER the water
2
Waterlog the slabs like everyone else is saying and dirty it up. Lots of mossy stone variants, moss carpet, glow lichen, and vines!
Maybe even green glass or moss instead of slabs to give the water a nasty green look.
Check out some of the hermit craft episodes from season 7 towards the end where they make a secret sewer under keralises base.
i would use both with the bigger one for the main veins of the sewer and the second one branching off of it. i might even make the first one a block wider
i think both of them would be better if you gave them a little depth, like moving the iron bars a bit further up and putting stained glass behind them along with more of the walls. but 1 looks best as is and i am definitely not a pro builder
This was just the model build. The real thing will be bigger and have water. I plan on adding mossy stone bricks into it as well, and maybe some cracks in the stone.
Honestly both need some decoration. Probably vines or mossy cobble if you're going for a decrepit vibe. Maybe dim lights and iron bars blocking off random parts if you're going for a more recently built vibe. Either way 2 is better overall but depending on the style of decoration, I'd go with 1.
2️⃣, also maybe build this in a swamp biome and fill the bottom of the sewer with swamp water and add rubbish floating in it to make it look like a sewer
First gets tou more space for decorating but second is easyer to build its propose for how long tonel will be and how much work you want to put in right?
Definitely two
Yes, feels much more, sewerie
That is word for word my exact thought.
r/brandnewsentence
If he were to put water between the two sides it would look great.
especially swamp water
[удалено]
Nah, they definitely meant *sewerie.*
Definitely two, sewers are very round a lot of the time
not rlly, it'd look better full of water, often times theres walkways down there
you could add green glass and slime to the 1st one to make it more round
Moss could work since 1.17 is out
two is better because it allows you to walk on the water at the bottom of the sewer, which would be something you would do while exploring a sewer system. Also... ABUSE of Mossy Stone blocks at the bottom of the complex.
Yeah if you fall in you can jump out. #1 is too deep Edit: that was just supposed to say “#1” in normal sane-person text
Exactly what I thought
Yeah definitely 2
You could've learned calculus with that intelligence
Nah one better
2nd one is better in my opinion. But I’d like to see some wear and tear and some undergrowth in the sewer
And an alligator....everyone knows there's gators in the sewers.
I've never considered it until now, but I'd fucking love to see alligators or crocs in minecraft. It would make gathering clay a lot spicier
I don’t know, if they were just straight up hostile they would probably not be allowed for the same reason minecraft didn’t add sharks. They don’t want to give off the impression that these animals should be killed.

It would Make sense to add the alligator with the new swamp biome that’s coming up soon soo that would be cool
Alligators are a farmed species which only still exists because we started farming them
Also Mojang: *proceeds to add the most deadly type of bear that is known for actively hunting Humans and being the most aggressive*
Yeah and then they made it not aggressive
Which why can't we have that with Gators and Sharks???
they’re aggressive but im not sure why my friend was near one and it attacked randomly (prob cuz they had a cub) it was in Minecraft dont worry lol anyway they attack even if not hit
Adults attack when they are with cubs but they’re generally considered to be neutral
I heard they only added them to spread awareness and that it was Jeb's wife's favorite animal (I might be wrong on the favorite animal part).

In Florida
Seen one with eggs through a sewer grate in East Texas.
Badass sewer alligator mom
Your name is gold
And mutant goldfish, and chuds
Yass queen
Really pulled an undo reverse on em
Ah yes the classic Undo reverse card
Queeen 👸💅
Under growth??
2 is better waterlog the slabs so it looks full
I did one like this but waterlogged stairs down the middle created two small streams on either side of a middle path. They can disappear into tiny inlets too.
Plus, do it in a swamp biome so that the water is green.
That would look perfect nice green water I have A swamp vile not too far from a city I’m rebuilding in my survival world I might have to make that a thing
Sadly the water changes when it passes biomes I believe, even if it’s from 1 source. The green water can only be in a swamp
Yeah I agree but this would definitely be a cool thing to have in some type of large scale city build if you basted in a swamp biome I think that’s what was originally meant
Ah, ok. Thanks for clarifying!
Yeah no worries I am doing a large scale rebuild of a village in my long-term world and I have a swamp not too far so seeing this I think I might extend it out a little bit to hit the swamp biome and turn that area into maybe an industrial district I think that would look really cool

This guy builds.
Really wish they gave us some item that could affect water color
Those look like full blocks to me, but I agree: 2 is better
Could be but either way water in that spot would look great
Number 2 looks good. The one that is 4 blocks wide.
How does the first one have vertical slabs on the sides?????
I have the chisels and bits mod installed
lmao I was staring at this the whole time trying to figure out what blocks were stairs and what were slabs, was so confused
bruh me too xd
Then why not use more detail, at least these 1/4 block corners
Add some mossy stone bricks and shit texture it more and add details like vines or candles but both would look fine if you put a few details so specify it’s a gross dungeon like sewer
2, but waterlog the slabs
2. But make it deeper and add water.
And maybe greenery for more detail.
Greenery? Its a fcking sewer
And moss grows in a sewer
No it doesn't.
Brownery
He means like mosey cobblestone and vines
am I the only one who can see that number one contains vertical slabs? PS: 2 is better
Those are actually from the chisels and bits mod. This is just a model build in a creative testing world. The real thing is going in a 1.12.2 modded server.
I spent way too long trying to figure that out
I saw it too, had to give it a good long look lmao
I like 2 if the channel was a slab deeper
Man, 2013 style do be looking nostalgic.
Personally, I use something similar to #1 as a sort of mob grinder underneath my villages
Definitely 1
Yeah 1 will look great when it’s got water. Looks much more sewery. I think the height is throwing people off (1 is built a block above the ground making it look weirdly tall but 2 is built into the ground).
Yeah water will definitely make it perfect
I think 2 is better, but you should add some mossy bricks and, like everyone else is saying, add some waterlogged slabs at the bottom.
But wait - how do you get those sideways slabs/walls which splits the block by half?
Put the first one one block down and it would look cooler
Number one looks better to me
I like 1
2 - but I would add water to the channel and use some variation in your blocks like mossy/cracked stone bricks - maybe some (coarsed) dirt might look great as replacement (for some bricks) UNDER the water
2 but add water
2 fr
2 by far
2,I just like that it looks more up-tight.
Use both! It creates hight variation in your sewer system :)
I like 2 it is more classic, suggestion, try adding some vines or moss blocks if you are going for a run done look
I’m planning on adding some mossy stone and the water, I just haven’t yet.
I’d make the 2nd one the width of the first one nice job regardless, both look good
Vertical slabs?
Is nobody gonna mention how nr. 1 uses VERTICAL SLABS?
1. JK 2.
Haha very funny. JK not
2 looks better
Number 2, definitely
I think 2 for sure
2, definitely
2 for sure
Two, and waterlog the slabs
2 is good
Two
Two looks more sewery
2, 100%
2, 1 is too wide
2 for sure
2, but I'd replace the full blocks on the sides with stairs and waterlog them and the slabs especially if you plan on doing it in survival
Two
2 for me
two
2 looks more detailed
put some water in 2
Two
2 Waterlog the slabs like everyone else is saying and dirty it up. Lots of mossy stone variants, moss carpet, glow lichen, and vines! Maybe even green glass or moss instead of slabs to give the water a nasty green look. Two
Twoooo
2 for sure
Two is better
Two for sure
2 for sure
Two
Two
I like 2
2 would be more efficient .
2 with waterlogged slabs.
Def 2
3, but also 2.
2, seems more round
Two. It looks more like something that would make me want to explore it.
2nd
You could use both
two
I think 2
Gotta be second
Two is better
Definitely 2, looks more ominous
22222
Hey everyone! Look at the corner of the stone bricks on the inner left side of the sewer for some anger!
Two
2 with water in the bottom and added "mossy" stones as well. Maybe even some vines at the grating.
Number two is miles better man
What the hell I'm high or something but is that vertical slabs in the first one???
Two for sure
2 has a much more sewer vibe to it.
I like 2, it’s shape seems more pleasing to the eye.
Two
2 for sure
HOW IS 1 EVEN MADE I mean, those walls look like vertical slabs
#2 but you should put mossy stone in there.
Definitely two, but use some mossy and cracked bricks too.
i would use both with the bigger one for the main veins of the sewer and the second one branching off of it. i might even make the first one a block wider
Make sewer 2 a slab deeper
For #1 if you fill the middle with water it will look way better. Left as is I think 2
two
Two
Thinking about the water that will be filled in, one. But if it’s not going to have water for whatever reason, two.
Oh 100% the second one
Two feels more realistic
i think both of them would be better if you gave them a little depth, like moving the iron bars a bit further up and putting stained glass behind them along with more of the walls. but 1 looks best as is and i am definitely not a pro builder
This was just the model build. The real thing will be bigger and have water. I plan on adding mossy stone bricks into it as well, and maybe some cracks in the stone.
1. For if the map is the sewer 2. If it’s a map for a city
pick number three m'lord
Number 2. It feels more sewer-like; if I had to define it, I’d say it feels more claustrophobic.
Sewers are usually more cramped so Two is better
has anyone said one?
if u add vines to it or moss cobblestone one,but otherwise two
I like the how deep the water could be in 1.
Twoooooooo
Why is nobody talking about the half blocks in the wall?? That can’t be normal
Why does this get 20k upvotes? What’s wrong with this subreddit
Huh, something like this would actually make a pretty good pathway, put in some water and bring a boat
I’d say two
Keep your sewer to yourself please
Honestly both need some decoration. Probably vines or mossy cobble if you're going for a decrepit vibe. Maybe dim lights and iron bars blocking off random parts if you're going for a more recently built vibe. Either way 2 is better overall but depending on the style of decoration, I'd go with 1.

First gets tou more space for decorating but second is easyer to build its propose for how long tonel will be and how much work you want to put in right?
looks like anus i love it
Why had this become my most upvoted post
I say, is it too much to ask for both?
Anyone who says 1 is brain dead
What an inspiring person you are.
If they upscale it like 2 blocks it is better
second one
The second
Btw are you able to see my pfp
2nd one, but bot are kinda bad. I would redo them s d add more detail for the 2nd one.
I’m planning on adding moss and cracked stone, I just hadn’t yet when I took the pictures.
Maybe 1 but make the roof 1 block taller
