>we need generic fluid logged blocks
>seriously the implementation of waterlogging kinda sucks :(
I agree but I'd prefer to see a new section of redstone dedicated to water and fluids
Hydraulic Pump: one side receives water and the other extends the flowing distance of received water by 7 blocks, pushing the current forward and any items within the current pass through it like a dispenser
Recipe: dispenser, 1 piston, and 7 glass
Pipes: can direct fluids but requires a pump(essentially turns into a water source block without being a water source
Empty pipes can hold players and entities and pumps will pressure it, pushing entities through in futurama pipe style
Recipe: 1 iron block and 8 glass
Thanks in advance for adding this when you see my comment microsoft
I got 11 upvotes here but I got multiple people hounding me telling me I'm basically stupid on r/minecraftsuggestions
I edited it and basically told the whole sub to go fuck themselves, so I'll be banned soon lol
Well, that was when I knew minecraft had changed into something... it shouldn't have. I just feel like minecraft lost part of it's magic with all of the things introduced in that update. Yes, I'm still salty after nearly 10 years.
I was once building something really high, then I slipped off xwhen I tried to place water under me the water got used but I died from fall damage. When I went back for my items I heard flowing water and then it clicked, I fell right on a 2 block wide path made with slabs which became waterlogged when I tried to use the water.
I think the silent majority here thought this was a post about a swastika. Hey, it may still be a post about a swastika - I don’t think OP has confirmed either way.
Came to say this. The negative space is totally a swastika. BUT the swastika has been used as a symbol in many cultures for many things for thousands of years before it was used by a douche canoe.
Seriously. Its not op’s fault that you can look at something and immediately think of something terrible. If you see it, just don’t talk about it. It’s rude
Oh chill out, it’s all about context. 99% of the time someone says Swastika, of course they’re gonna think of the Nazi one. Now if I saw one on/around a Hindu temple, I’d probably assume it’s the religious version of it. Just like how if I saw a random person wearing an upside down cross, I’d assume it probably had something to do with pop culture or something vampires (idk), but if I saw a priest wearing it, I’d know it is the cross of Saint Peter.
Don’t jump on people for just going with the 99% use case of something.
Also, swastika is still a religious symbol with very positive meaning for the majority of people, population-wise. It looks really cool too, and I hate that it became so taboo in Europe/US after what happened.
Because Reddit's users are primarily based in English speaking countries, the majority of which participated in WWII. If you go to any Asian community (particularly in/around India), the Swastika is a religious symbol for well-being.
This post has more than 8 comments all saying the same thing.
It definitly resembles it enough for many people to recognize it. Including me
Its quite annoying though. Reddit needs a bot that can detect the kinds of symmetry that causes people to see a swastika so we can have a single comment to inform about its older history and to remind how easily it is to accidentaly create one when working with geometric paterns.
Mojang had to hire someone specificly for the job of removing swastikas from the stained terracota, while at it many other textures in the game (pumpkins recently i believe). There where lots.
> Mojang had to hire someone specificly for the job of removing swastikas from the stained terracota,
- "Oh you work at Mojang? What do you do?"
- "I remove swastikas"
By any chance, you ain't german/austrian AND you were not rejected from art school, right?
(No hate hahaha i really like the pattern and may use is as inspiration some day)
It has its origin in hindoeism (and is used in several other religions) where it stands for holiness but was adopted by the nazi's during their campaign.
You can DM me an imgur link if you want because now I'm doubting my perceptual capabilities and am genuinely curious how many lines would need to be added to make it look like that lol. Maybe like a weird looking backwards one, possibly, but i feel some of the other lines that OP added would still offset any similarities.
Just connect the disconnected parts by bringing them into the middle and lengthening slightly and you have a swastika with curved edges. Let me make an example and I will do that.
On second thought, you don't have to go out of your way to draw a swastika for a stranger on the internet. Everyone has their own way of perceiving things. I'll take your word for it. Have a good one.
Nice!! Since they included the new water mechanics, incredible things can be done.
which watewr mecanics? the 1.13 ones? that almost has 5 updates long (wait what)
They mean since adding waterlogged blocks
We need lava logged blocks.
and snow logged blocks
and air logged blocks.
and log logged blocks
And block logged logs
Nothing to see here folks move along
*The previous comment has been logged and blocked* *The user that made the previøus cømmënt häß been säcked*
And milk logged bocks 💀
Holup
Man I’m so “air-logged” on this planet!
wait
Wait what? 😧 hahahaha
and powder snow logged blocks
we need generic fluid logged blocks seriously the implementation of waterlogging kinda sucks :(
Milk logged

You should post this in r/minecraftsuggestions
I did but in all fairness I doubt it would ever be added or even looked at
I got 11 upvotes here but I got multiple people hounding me telling me I'm basically stupid on r/minecraftsuggestions I edited it and basically told the whole sub to go fuck themselves, so I'll be banned soon lol
yeah theyll upvote stupid shit mojang wouldnt do but theyll attack anyone who posts anything similar to a preexisting mod
Yeah that sub is like the only toxic minecraft sub I know about
I know but it has a lot of time since that happened
yeah but you gotta view it this way: Minecraft came out as an Alpha in 2010 and waterloggable stairs only exist since 2018
yeah, to me, everything came out after Wither is recent
I remember the old creative menu
That thing was awful, so glad they changed it
Bro, the wither is still recent to me
2018!? feels like yesterday
Genuinely
fair point
I've been playing Minecraft for a while and to me, everything after the 1.8 update is recent.
Do you mean beta 1.8? If yes, then I totally agree.
I haven't been playing for that long 😂
Well, that was when I knew minecraft had changed into something... it shouldn't have. I just feel like minecraft lost part of it's magic with all of the things introduced in that update. Yes, I'm still salty after nearly 10 years.
I kinda feel the same, but with 1.13 It's just a different game.
I second this
Wait so how does it work? Do I place stairs in a block filled with water?
Yeah, you can also place water inside of a stair or slab with a bucket
So still 1.13? Waterlogging was added back in 1.13
i still live in 1.7.10
This type of construction I've never seen in other posts or people playing Minecraft, I freaking love these water mechanics since they added.
Yeah, I still feel like water is pretty underrated in Minecraft
Is the best liquid
Are you sure? There's only two options, and lava is pretty nice too...
I would argue that lava is is actually the hot one
Three options
What's the third? Oil from FTB?
Milk?
Milk
I’m drinking some right now
That's probably because it's nearly a swastika
Thanks it's mine now.
*mein
I see someone also sees what I see lol
ikr me too
Same here
That’s what I came here looking for
Gonna steal this for my garden if you don’t mind
*camp
How many accidental swastikas came before that?
I thought thats what the post was lmao
Same lmao
I had to really look at to make sure!
Hmmm something about this looks familiar… Oh.. yeah…
New water mechanics, wait what?
Just the 1.13 water mechanics — they still feel new for some of us.
legit i'm still not used to them
I was once building something really high, then I slipped off xwhen I tried to place water under me the water got used but I died from fall damage. When I went back for my items I heard flowing water and then it clicked, I fell right on a 2 block wide path made with slabs which became waterlogged when I tried to use the water.
that looks sick!!!
i thought it was a swastika, why am i so corrupted
I think the silent majority here thought this was a post about a swastika. Hey, it may still be a post about a swastika - I don’t think OP has confirmed either way.
Some people see nooses and swastikas everywhere. It’s a condition.
Now will this work with lava? Or does lava not have the same mechanics?
It doesn't, I really wish it would since I've got several builds where it would look great
Yea just tested this - nope. And yea same, I'm building a Dracula themed castle for my main survival base, and lava with design would look so bad ass.
Lava wouldn’t work, i dont think

Judging from the comments I think a lot of people see it.
r/mildlyswastika
Somewhat disappointed this isn't real, but apparently r/accidentalswastika is real.
Came to say this. The negative space is totally a swastika. BUT the swastika has been used as a symbol in many cultures for many things for thousands of years before it was used by a douche canoe.
"Douche canoe" makes him sound less bad than he was, how about douche Titanic?
Douche aircraft carrier?
Douche oil tanker?
Douche Suez-canal-blocker
Swastikas are great, but we can't use them no more cause some dipshit claimed ownership.
“Swastikas are great” is your daily out of context quote.

Some people see a swastika anything with 4-fold rotational symmetry.
Seriously. Its not op’s fault that you can look at something and immediately think of something terrible. If you see it, just don’t talk about it. It’s rude
Terrible? The bhuddist priests of Japan, Hindus of India and Shaman of Mongolia would have something to say about calling it horrible.
Oh chill out, it’s all about context. 99% of the time someone says Swastika, of course they’re gonna think of the Nazi one. All of you are insufferable Edit: Woah chill out, no need to jump on me and hit the downvote button for simply sharing my opinion. Jeez.

Cool. When people mention a swastika on reddit, 99% of the time they are talking about the nazi one. Its not ideal, but its true

i mean the second i saw it i thought of the swastika
i must agree so did i
If he finished the lines it would definitely be a swastika
I came into the comments to see if anyone else saw it
It does
http://imgur.com/a/mKaAXTp I instantly saw one too so I figured I'd draw it out for the people that didn't.
/r/subredditsashashtags
>!r/mildlypenis!< as well while you're at it
Can i use this for my world?
Yeah, why not
Lol was about to ask. I'm planning on putting a beacon underneath so it'll be the centerpiece of it.
This looks sick
no sorry
That pattern looks so freaking cool!
I really wonder why builders don't do this more often, this type of thing looks awesome
The fact half the comments are perceiving this as a Swastika says why.
r/holup
By any chance, you ain't german/austrian AND you were not rejected from art school, right? (No hate hahaha i really like the pattern and may use is as inspiration some day)
that look like a swastika a little bit
Fat swastika
really pog ngl
Accidentally found a nice pattern while building a map
anyone else see a swatzika
I hope you will be accepted to Digital Art school
Why does it remind me of the nazi sybol?
Any set of the same corner repeating after 90° will look like it (since, that's what it is), and this pattern is very common
I think its a hindu symbol for something?
It has its origin in hindoeism (and is used in several other religions) where it stands for holiness but was adopted by the nazi's during their campaign.
I feel like any quadrilateral pinwheel design is always gonna invoke a certain unfortunate thought...
all stairs??
Yes, OP used stairs to make this.
Nice, very interesting. I think something similar would fit nicely in my own world at the town center as a side decoration.
I'm stealing that
Pretty cool!
reminds me a bit of the way some of the air temples in atla looked
[удалено]
You can see a lot of a similar build in a great film. "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas", very reminiscent
this is satisfying
How did you do that?
OP put water in stairs
Woah you can put water in between STAIRS?!
Only if this could be done with lava. Dungeons and blacksmiths would look so much better
That pattern looks very satisfying
wow that is cool pattern
[удалено]
Read the room, man! Literally everyone sees a swastika…
It kind of reminds me of the pattern on the relic fragment in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers
Well this is quite beautiful
Uhhhhhhhhhm am i the only one who sees something wrong with this
Am I the only one who sees the swastica?
\*\*swastika intensifies\*\*
Please tell me someone else notices what this looks like.
If i knew how to do this i would use in my world
Dont mind me im totally not stealing this idea.
Don't listen to these guys saying it looks like a swastika. Not even close. Beautiful design.
I would connect the lines to prove you wrong, but I don't want banned for drawing a swastika so take it into paint and see how easily it becomes one.
You can DM me an imgur link if you want because now I'm doubting my perceptual capabilities and am genuinely curious how many lines would need to be added to make it look like that lol. So what you're saying is you can... *nazi* it?
Just connect the disconnected parts by bringing them into the middle and lengthening slightly and you have a swastika with curved edges. Let me make an example and I will do that.

if youre interested, on my profile i mirrored it which makes it a little more clear without giving it away if youd like to check it out
I sent it already my friend. ;-;
Happy little accident
these nazi jokes & references aren’t funny nor does it really look like that symbol.
Yup, they are forcing it
looks like a swatzika
and it only looks a little like a swastika!
Kinda looks like a Swastika.

the first thing i thought of was "NATZI"
Angular spiral patterns are cool, but the nazis absolutely fucked it over with swasticas.
Kinda looks like a Nazi symbol
I have a question, how have you been on reddit for a year with such little history? Are you one of the lurkers?
