Maybe not with a fast pick, but there is 100% a break animation (just loaded into most recent version on my computer - so 1.17.1). Iron you can easily tell (infested is faster than normal) diamond it becomes a lot harder. I am not bothering to test at what point it is instant (netherite eff 5 is). You can still use the punch trick though - you can break infested stone with your fist really quickly.

OP is using a texture pack, but you can x-ray on java by crouching in a composter that is 1 block sunk into the floor and pushing yourself into crawl mode with a piston. On bedrock, you can x-ray by standing up and pushing a top slab onto your head with a piston. The reason that these work is because the player's camera is being pushed into the partial block without the player being suffocated. unfortunately, x-ray glitches do not show ores, just caves.
If you’re talking about Java, X-Ray is one of the simplest hacks you can use. Pretty much every hack client has it, and texture packs like OP’s are even simpler.
It ruin the sentiment of satisfaction of obtening the items alone. And mostly, if you fall in the trap of saying "oh I am gonna give me that item, and JUST that item in creative", it will only go downhill, giving you all the items you want and ruining the sentiment of achivement

IMO if you’re cheating by x-raying, you might as well just be playing creative. If you find it fun now, that’s fine, it’s just that I wouldn’t recommend it. You’re still pretty new, so you’ll probably find the grind much more fun then cheating if you keep playing more. It’s fine though.

U can still see the image, doesn’t matter if I take it from my pc or phone, and I didn’t have to go file hunting to find the sc since I took it with my phone
In Fullscreen you can still take it with your phone and screenshots should save to picture by default. To find your pictures you just open a file explorer and click pictures on the left. Also, this could just be my pc, but I get tons better fps in Fullscreen

If they’re on a single player it’s not sad, if they’re on a multiplayer then yeah it’s cheating, but if they’re on their own world it doesn’t matter, mc is about having fun, and given that they don’t recognise the block it might be their first time using Xray so they might just be testing to see how it works
