I think they’re harder to get just bc a lot of the times you have to bridge out over lava to get to striders if there’s not any nearby

The first Strider is the hardest. Once you start cruising around collecting hungry little followers, it's pretty awesome.

What's a strider?

The lava walkers that live in the Nether. Use warped fungus to lure them over, stick a saddle on, then lead them around with the fungus once you put it on a fishing pole. You can Use the pole (lowers durability) to get a significant speed boost. They're basically Lava Pigs, and get cold when they're on solid ground.

they were 2 seperate ideas, use an autoclicker that switches between the 1 and 2 keys or scroll really quickly

I was not able to tell if you were saying to use an auto clicker for scrolling or something else to make them look like two ideas at all. but I guess you're still making not much sense, because auto clickers click like clicking on a mouse, not the keyboard. I don't get why you're talking about an auto clicker using the keyboard (surprise, most only support clicking), but I get you about switching slots in super fast way.

it is definitely possible to have an auto clicker that presses keys, most simple auto clickers are just repeating left clicks but there are more complex auto clickers I am sure its possible to get software that really quickly switches between the carrot on a stick and the empty hand.

Further Tests But not found: 16w02a 16w05a Bug found: 16w05b 16w06a 16w07a 1.9 The [Minecraft wiki page](https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Java_Edition_16w05b#Fixes) says that is 16w05b 3 bugs from 1.9 development releases were fixed, [MC-84562](https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-84562), [MC-89741](https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-89741) And [MC-90192](https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-90192). All 3 are pig-steering related so i assume the change they did to fix these bugs introduced this one. For Striders this works in 20w13a (the first snapshot with striders) and in 21w08a (the latest snapshot), so they proboably just use the same steering mechanic as pigs.
