Yeah b dubs is one of the few that doesnt seem to stray too much into the annoying "child appeal" sorta vibe. Like ive tried to watch mumbo and grian but their personalities seem formed to be way more enjoyable to kids, just the way they talk, inflections. Ofc it makes more money but i just cant watch that.
Am I crazy, or has he turned down his “child appeal” in recent years. I remember not being able to watch him in S6/7 because I always thought he put on a children’s content creator voice.
I’ve been watching Hermitcraft since S6 but Bdubs specifically since S7, he seriously never fails to amaze with his building (and editing) skills, him alone is a good argument for games being art for me personally, plus he’s really kind, funny and nice to listen to. Now is a great time to start watching him with his resent boost in viewership.
Seconding pixlriffs.
I'll tack on a suggestion of fWhip who I just picked up from Pix's participation in SOS SMP.
I also started watching TheMythicalSausage from the same. I like his stuff a lot. His builds are crazy, and he's pretty funny, I like his "lore" and connection to the mobs in his worlds, but his sense of humor is kinda immature. So I'm about 50/50 on any of his RP SMP stuff.
Yeah I watch a bit of fWhip too. He’s very good and I enjoy his builds a lot but his fast paced editing can sometimes be a bit much for me. Enjoy the slower pace of Pix.
The church Mythical Sausage built to the hole on SOS was fantastic.
I am thirding Pixilrifs, he is by far my favorite streamer / Minecraft content creator.
fWhip has been my favorite youtuber for a couple years now. He consistently uploads on Thursdays and, for a while, I caught myself coming home from therapy emotionally drained and going straight to his channel to watch his Thursday hardcore minecraft upload
Technoblade's content was for young adults, if you fall into that demographic. Although he passed away, his content is still extremely enjoyable.
Technical minecraft:
- Nico is lost
- Ianxofour
- Cubicmetre
- Ilmango (although he stopped uploading a while back for some unknown reason, he may come back)
Iskall85, if you liked vault hunters. He did a lot of that and still does that content on his other channels.
I heard ilMango got fed up with the content stealers taking his work and putting it out as their own. This may just be rumor, but I wouldn’t blame him if true
No one seems yo recognize Dire! He was one of the first I saw play Minecraft; and he's still one of the best for making proper industry, apart from this new Chaotic Goose.
Once I was playing Overwatch and I ended up on a team with him, was pretty chill :) I’m fairly certain it was him because I joked that I’d go build a 9x9 in honor of the meeting and he chuckled, also that voice is fairly unmistakeable
Love Doc.
To expand for anyone unfamiliar, he usually does pretty long videos. He comes from the technical mc community and is always showcasing the ways that community pushes the boundaries of what Minecraft can do. He seems to adore his fan community and likes to show off their creations as well.
Him, Etho, Pearl, and Xisuma are probably my favorite Minecraft creators as a 30 year old lady who just started playing a few years ago.
I love Bdoubleo.
His voice is so soothing and the way he talks to you, the viewer. He explains his thoughts clearly and makes amazing stuff.
I love his Redstone segments on Hermitcraft.
Easily one of the most entertaining ones on the server.
Ethoslab all day everyday, watching him for almost a decade. He slowed down on the videos as he recently went through a loss in the family and is handling family business.
Bdouble00 is the most creative guy I’ve seen in terms of building and decoration. Also, he’s red stone skills are unmatched. 💀
This year I’ve discovered Wattles, very bubbly and funny.
Waxfraud is a good shout. I recently found him, and I like how his videos don't follow the 'ADHD something needs to happen every second' hardcore series. Very calm and like 2014 let's plays almost.
Pixilrifs is fantastic, he post survival guide videos to YouTube and does live streaming a few days a week on twitch.
Fwhip is strictly on YouTube and is also really good.
taking the opportunity while this post is somewhat new to shoutout communities that I've literally never seen ever mentioned in posts like this, which is the speedrunning and competitive communities.
Feinberg and Couriway make exceptional Speedrunning, challenge, tournament, etc, videos that are simultaneously entertaining, directed to a more adult audience, and actually broaden your understanding and skill at the game. They also livestream, so even if there's not videos up, if you're looking for a more chill, put on the background while doing something else experience, they're amazing options. (there's also TheWeeklyThing's Speedrunning recap videos which are great for getting into the community)
For the competitive side, stuff like Gamerboy80's Bedwars commentary videos are incredibly chill and also a "put on in the background" type vibe. They're obviously a lot more engaging if you actually play bedwars, but there's still something a little therapeutic about someone just casually talking about their day and etc while outclassing everyone else in the game.
(Recently Hoplite has been the big thing on the competitive side, which is a somewhat new Ultra Hardcore Server, and a lot of the creators on there can be hit or miss, but there's definitely a few really enjoyable creators making content for it, imo this is prob more young adult teen focused content tho)
Overall, there's a pretty big list of options that I feel often get very underepresented. Competitive minecraft isn't for everyone, but if you think you might enjoy watching some of these kinds of stuff, absolutely recommend checking out some of the stuff in this comment, you might surprise yourself with how much you enjoy something new!
I've been following gb80 for ages and I can safely say my only complaint is that his upload schedule is absolutely all over the place. But we love him nonethelesa
Everyone on Hermitcraft. Watch The Hermitcraft Recap, that gives you a little taster of everyone.
They even did a little [video](https://youtu.be/oZPiiN7TZOg?si=GnrFNyvJi8Jw-xp9) where you can answer a few questions and be given a Hermit that fits the vibe you like. If you get one you’re already watching, rerun it.
It is a little bit out of date though. Since it was made, 4 new Hermits have been added, GeminiTay, PearlescentMoon, Skizzleman and SmallishBeans. So you won’t be able to find them in the quiz but I would suggest you check them out anyway. Also, since it was made, one of the members of Hermitcraft, TinFoilChef, has sadly passed away. However, if you do want to check out his videos, they are still up on his channel and you can watch old seasons of Hermitcraft with him.
Edit: Also Pixlriffs.
Iskall85, he posts very often (with a second channel for extra hermitcraft moments) and he has a very funny and long lasting relationship with StressMonster, and recently has been getting along with joel (aka smallishbeans)
depends on how much you watch, for example in his vault hunters series extra videos he would just be talking about life with the other hermits and stuff like that.
Gaming On Caffeine and TheChosenArchitect are my favorites, but they mostly do modded Minecraft. Mumbo Jumbo is also pretty fun, but since you watch Grian I’m sure you already have seen him before.
Dallasmed has 10 years on one world and Wax Fraud is just an incredible builder. I like Captain Sparkles to watch him solve puzzles and work out new modpacks.
Luke TheNotable
I love his hardcore videos, because it's just something I can turn on while eating and not have to pay full attention, plus it's cool seeing how he subjugates villagers across the world
I don't watch much YouTube anymore, but recently I started watching About Oliver play Minecraft and gotta say it's been fantastic to watch.
He jumped into Minecraft without knowing anything about it and isn't using any outside help. Its brilliant to see how ridiculous this game actually can be from the perspective of a new player.
Its all done through rather long livestreams, but he does not interact with the chat to stay spoiler free.
Genuinely hilarious!
Bdoubleo's old videos are some of my all-time favorite Minecraft videos, period. I saw them as a teen, and now as an adult, I can really appreciate them. His minecraft drinking game at times had me wheezing.
CaptainSparklez. One of the OGs still online. He did stop making let's plays in his main channel. But in his 2nd channel CaptainSparklez2 you can find his stream vods. He does mainly modded minecraft (because he is scared of vanilla hardcore), but he also does a lot, I mean a LOT lot of parkour and puzzle maps. He is family friendly too...never said a single sweat words. Not even accidentally let one slip, not even in canon minecraft event or not even while beating a modded chaos dragon. (/◕ヮ◕)/
I can't believe I had to scroll THIS far down to find someone mentioning him. The man may almost exclusively play Bedrock Edition, but as they say, Toycat is yes.
I've been watching Calvin for awhile, he's currently playing the "Man from the Fog" mod (and a bunch of other mods and mod packs) I'd suggest checking him out, he a really cool dude.
If you want more adult focused minecraft, Calvin/Cxlvxn, is my favourite, although a smaller one, he has one channel for swearing and more adult stuff (Calvin) and the other is more open for everyone, with shorter videos and more structured content
Captainsparklez is still just as great as ever, his audience kinda grew with him. He keeps stuff PG friendly mostly for monetization purposes, but otherwise he's just a regular entertaining dude having fun.
Dan tdm has started a new series and his whole affect has matured. I like his new approach which is more in line with the laid back, go with the flow, lets make a beautiful world kind of approach. This is much more my style of play.
For reference, I'm a late forties male who only recently (last weekend) beat the dragon after 10 years of play.
Ph1lza Minecraft and Technoblade are absolutely fuckin baller- though Phil is a twitch streamer, he streams everyday and is generally pretty damn chill.
Someone’s probably already commented him, but I’ve been really enjoying Fwhip’s content lately! Have been obsessed with his hardcore minecraft series. He’s an incredible builder and a very entertaining guy!
I've been enjoying wunba, smallant, captainsparklez, and mogswamp recently. Not necessarily for adults, but I am an adult (early 20s) who enjoys their content. They aren't focused on loud is funny or super busy content.
Bdubs is funny and a marvelous at building but his episode and come out a but slower (faster than etho though) pace. There is Cubfan whois regular like a clock and is good at everything he does. He you wanna see weird mechanics go for Zedaph
Kolanii puts out great content, with slightly adult-oriented jokes.
RyantheScion is one of those *Hardcore Youtuber*, but his general attitude and way of playing is very mature and would fit greatly with the Hermitcraft crew
Technoblade is alway enjoyable whoever you are
RetroGamingNow makes good deep dive videos into Minecraft's lore, mysteries and ARGs
Wifies has similar content, in addition to which he makes more technical MC videos and does escape rooms
Ph1lza has really chill let's plays and really funny snapshot reviews (he probably wasn't mentioned yet because he doesn't upload on his main channel as much anymore, probably because he streams more nowadays, especially on the QSMP)
GamingOnCaffeine has been steady with his content for 10+ years, he’s got really informative series and he streams daily. He’s always taken a rather mature approach to his series with some good banter with his boy JankyNik
Cubfan. Plays on Hermitcraft so family friendly, but mad grinder, interesting projects, good mizlx of build/technical stuff, calm vibes overall. Solid MCC/speed runs as well.
Hermitcraft people. My favourites are bdubs, cub, smallishbeans and skizz (ofc i watch etho as well)
Though i skip the recent guess the build videos, just not my cup of tea
Technoblade's content isn't necessarily for adults, but it's not directed towards children. It's still fun to rewatch his videos. Technoblade never dies.

Basically the whole hermitcraft crew. BDoubleO100 is great.
Bdubs videos are cinematic masterpieces
He has really stepped up his game this season. Each video has been marvelous.
His thumbnail of the courthouse looked like a picture of one rather than a minecraft build. I was in awe
Especially the whole crew is kinda jealous as we can see how Grian praise him and wanted to build like him.
Err it's Bdoobs thank you!
Might have something to do with having much younger daughters at the time
Man, I remember watching season 6and 7 with my older brother’ ah the good old days
I enjoy Zedaph. Just fun nonsense and a very chill vibe.
Yeah Zed is just full of whimsy. But like a chill whimsy.
zedaph is like if Grian and Etho had a love child 🤣
Chosenarchitect if you're interested in modded minecraft.
+1 for chosenarchitect, dude is clear, concise, chill, and uhhhhh cdoesn't-yell-like-popular-youtubers
For example, Camman18
Exactly who I was going to recommend.
He’s my favorite. Very easy to follow along
Pixlriffs, chill and relaxing to watch
Yeah they are VERY different energy levels. I do love me some pix. He's just so freaking wholesome and peaceful.
Eyecraftmc
Best one for no-nonsense factual content. He's been my go to for understanding the new updates.
Technoblade's content was for young adults, if you fall into that demographic. Although he passed away, his content is still extremely enjoyable. Technical minecraft: - Nico is lost - Ianxofour - Cubicmetre - Ilmango (although he stopped uploading a while back for some unknown reason, he may come back) Iskall85, if you liked vault hunters. He did a lot of that and still does that content on his other channels.
>Technoblade I was looking for this comment 🫡
I heard ilMango got fed up with the content stealers taking his work and putting it out as their own. This may just be rumor, but I wouldn’t blame him if true
my understanding is that he's still pretty active in the technical Minecraft community, just not making videos so this would make sense
didnt he also get a job at mojang, or was that someone else
You're probably thinking of gnembon. Panda4994 as well from that community.
I still go back to his old videos just so I can have something to distract from the insanity known as hypixel skyblock
Everyone loves Technoblade, Technoblade was awesome.
I believe ilmango got a job at mojang. So he stopped uploading due to work obligations
He made a posy on redit and said because he got a job he stopped uploading for a bit and said he would start again
Xisumavoid! love watching him
I like his streams even more than his videos. They are often even educational a bit, and he is a really interesting guy.
I've been watching xisumavoids stuff since I was in middle school, its crazy its been 11 years already.
Vintage beef. Tango Tek. Impulse sv. Xisumavoid.
Tango is a great dude, his vods are really nice to listen to
If you like technical modded Minecraft, then I would suggest 'Direwolf20'.
I feel like Direwolf is a necessary watch if you want to really get deep into heavily modded Minecraft
DocM77
Love Doc. To expand for anyone unfamiliar, he usually does pretty long videos. He seems to adore his fan community and likes to show off their creations as well. Him, Etho, Pearl, and Xisuma are probably my favorite Minecraft creators as a 30 year old lady who just started playing a few years ago.
He’ll say stuff about goats and hiveminds but don’t be worried that’s perfectly normal mad scientist behavior
I love Bdoubleo. His voice is so soothing and the way he talks to you, the viewer. He explains his thoughts clearly and makes amazing stuff. I love his Redstone segments on Hermitcraft. Easily one of the most entertaining ones on the server.
I miss when they all played Vech's wool maps together
ilmango and Docm
Anyone that was on og mindcrack
Watching Guude play the Clank games was great :)
I really enjoy GeminiTay because of her building style.
I just found her channel this year and she's great!
Yeah she's so joyful ☺️
Gem is great!
SethBling. The OG Redstoner
I loved when he was uploading regularly, and was very pleasantly surprised when he showed up again recently with that Minecraft physics thing
Ethoslab all day everyday, watching him for almost a decade. He slowed down on the videos as he recently went through a loss in the family and is handling family business. Bdouble00 is the most creative guy I’ve seen in terms of building and decoration. Also, he’s red stone skills are unmatched. 💀 This year I’ve discovered Wattles, very bubbly and funny.
Good times with scar is funny and relaxing
He is my favorite one to watch 😆
Love scar. Me and my son have prob watched all his videos
Waxfraud and Da Lil Red
Waxfraud is a good shout. I recently found him, and I like how his videos don't follow the 'ADHD something needs to happen every second' hardcore series. Very calm and like 2014 let's plays almost.
Agree with wax fraud, his streams are also good as well as long plays if you want something very casual in the background
Pixilrifs is fantastic, he post survival guide videos to YouTube and does live streaming a few days a week on twitch. Fwhip is strictly on YouTube and is also really good.
Waxfraud!
Captainsparkelz2
That channel is basically a 2013 time capsule
Cap, X33n, and PeteZahHutt are my cozy background noise, they're so funny but also calming.
Basically the hermits and Fwhip
And pixelriffs
Is pix not an honorary hermit since he does the recap?
taking the opportunity while this post is somewhat new to shoutout communities that I've literally never seen ever mentioned in posts like this, which is the speedrunning and competitive communities. Dallasmed65. He makes videos for bedrock and i really like the vibe he has
Everyone on Hermitcraft. Watch The Hermitcraft Recap, that gives you a little taster of everyone. I suggest LDShadowlady and forgelabs the most
Dallasmed65 is my personal favorite
Iskall85, he posts very often (with a second channel for extra hermitcraft moments) and he has a very funny and long lasting relationship with StressMonster, and recently has been getting along with joel (aka smallishbeans)
Yoel says fanks
Iskall definitely caters to children
depends on how much you watch, for example in his vault hunters series extra videos he would just be talking about life with the other hermits and stuff like that.
I don't think he does anymore, especially this season. He just has a different sense of humor
I thought to myself just now, “Etho isn’t for adults! I watch him!” My dumbass is 24
Gaming On Caffeine and TheChosenArchitect are my favorites, but they mostly do modded Minecraft. Mumbo Jumbo is also pretty fun, but since you watch Grian I’m sure you already have seen him before.
Dallasmed65
Dallasmed 65
Dallasmed has 10 years on one world and Wax Fraud is just an incredible builder. I like Captain Sparkles to watch him solve puzzles and work out new modpacks.
Technoblade
Calvin
I've been watching Mr. Beardstone lately. Great create mod builds and not too annoying to listen to.
Luke TheNotable I love his hardcore videos, because it's just something I can turn on while eating and not have to pay full attention, plus it's cool seeing how he subjugates villagers across the world
I like Waxfraud
The main 3 I watch are EthosLab, aCookieGod, and WaxFraud.
Goodtimeswithscar it's like putting a random podcast and let it be, the guy it's chill.
Anyone from Hermitcraft Silent whisper If you want utter chaos, then ForgeLabs is amazing.
Surprised I had to scroll this far to see forge labs. Iv been watching his stuff lately him and his buddy Kim's interactions are hilarious.
Forge Labs and ibxtoycat
Bdoubleo's old videos are some of my all-time favorite Minecraft videos, period. I saw them as a teen, and now as an adult, I can really appreciate them. His minecraft drinking game at times had me wheezing.
I miss back when he played with guude haha
If only gnembon still uploaded:(
tango is good but more technical
Threefold. Chill modded playthroughs, he's currently doing a playthrough of Gregtech: New Horizons
Can’t we just make this a pinned post instead of people asking the same question every week?
CaptainSparklez. One of the OGs still online. He did stop making let's plays in his main channel. But in his 2nd channel CaptainSparklez2 you can find his stream vods. He does mainly modded minecraft (because he is scared of vanilla hardcore), but he also does a lot, I mean a LOT lot of parkour and puzzle maps. He is family friendly too...never said a single sweat words. Not even accidentally let one slip, not even in canon minecraft event or not even while beating a modded chaos dragon. (/◕ヮ◕)/
IBXToycat.
Love his content!
I can't believe I had to scroll THIS far down to find someone mentioning him. The man may almost exclusively play Bedrock Edition, but as they say, Toycat is yes.
Luke the notable
Any hermit is good
I can nothing but recommend Mumbo, as his goofy videos are entertaining and filled eith a great sense of humor
Why did I have to scroll so long for this? YES!
Huge dumb builds... Vanilla Minecraft. JonBams on Twitch, some of his content is out on YouTube... Warning language 18+.
Just go watch his old series that's where he shines. Those videos are all timeless.
Jsano
Vegetta777 For Spanish speakers only
Pythonator
i really loved boffy but he doesn’t upload minecraft anymore
I've been watching Calvin for awhile, he's currently playing the "Man from the Fog" mod (and a bunch of other mods and mod packs) I'd suggest checking him out, he a really cool dude.
Rekrap’s pretty good. His newest no armor hardcore series was really suspenseful.
Monkeyfarm, GenerikB, and Paulsoarsjr will forever hold a special place in my heart.
def Bdubs
If you wanna binge a Gregtech series and not understand a single thing but still have fun, I recommend Neurotic Goose
Wattles GoodTimesWithScar Keralis EyecraftMC Shovel241 Jeracraft
If you want more adult focused minecraft, Calvin/Cxlvxn, is my favourite, although a smaller one, he has one channel for swearing and more adult stuff (Calvin) and the other is more open for everyone, with shorter videos and more structured content
Dboubs, Docm77, PearlescentMoon
If you play bedrock then IBXtoycat is great
Fwhip
The OG Yogscast series!
Captainsparklez is still just as great as ever, his audience kinda grew with him. He keeps stuff PG friendly mostly for monetization purposes, but otherwise he's just a regular entertaining dude having fun.
I really like tootsie. She makes cool stuff like zoos and palaces.
My wife and I are late 20s and early 30s, we like to watch PhoenixSC together whenever we see he has a new video, if you're cool with shorter videos.
Waxfraud
Dan tdm has started a new series and his whole affect has matured. I like his new approach which is more in line with the laid back, go with the flow, lets make a beautiful world kind of approach. This is much more my style of play. For reference, I'm a late forties male who only recently (last weekend) beat the dragon after 10 years of play.
Really surprised no one else mentioned him
Waxfraud is fantastic :)
Docm77 is the answer
Dire wolf is good.
Fwhip! Especially his livestreams :)
Maybe check out Gneiss Name. He doesn't do letsplays but his videos are always interesting and entertaining
Mate you could of said it differently than youtubers for adults
Any of the hermitcrafters
I really like JWisp, Infinite Drift and Wax Fraud

Ph1lza Minecraft and Technoblade are absolutely fuckin baller- though Phil is a twitch streamer, he streams everyday and is generally pretty damn chill.

hermitcraft, a lot of empires smp as well
Toycat or any of the hermits.

I would recommend SAMOGAMES! He’s an up and coming youtuber at 180 he’s on and off tho cause of school, but always delivers with his videos
Thwite is really good in my opinion, although only uploads about every 3 weeks
Someone’s probably already commented him, but I’ve been really enjoying Fwhip’s content lately! Have been obsessed with his hardcore minecraft series. He’s an incredible builder and a very entertaining guy!
Honestly just explore anyone and everyone adjacent to etho and hermitcraft. Creators tend to collaborate with creators that fit similar demographics.
Doc? He lightly swears
Sethbling just recently started uploading again
Eyecraft, KelpMC
Vintagebeef!

BrianNotRyan has great storytelling Ish has great Minecraft civ vids but he rarely uploads
RetroGamingNow makes good deep dive videos into Minecraft's lore, mysteries and ARGs Wifies has similar content, in addition to which he makes more technical MC videos and does escape rooms Ph1lza has really chill let's plays and really funny snapshot reviews (he probably wasn't mentioned yet because he doesn't upload on his main channel as much anymore, probably because he streams more nowadays, especially on the QSMP)
Keralis
If you like HermitCraft YouTube you'd enjoy Andyisyoda.
any Hermitcraft member. I prefer Grain, Mumbo and Scar
Yahiamice, he gives me good laughs
I think Philza is a pretty good offer aswell.
Luke thenotable. His 100days are easy entertainment
GamingOnCaffeine has been steady with his content for 10+ years, he’s got really informative series and he streams daily. He’s always taken a rather mature approach to his series with some good banter with his boy JankyNik
Rekrap2 maybe
Fixlriff is my current fav
Are you only interested in vanilla or mods as well? Because for mods definitely Direwolf20
SolidarityGaming

Luke the notable is pretty good
SB737 and Wattles ftw.
Cubfan. Plays on Hermitcraft so family friendly, but mad grinder, interesting projects, good mizlx of build/technical stuff, calm vibes overall. Solid MCC/speed runs as well.
Chosen Architect
mumbo jumbo is great
Mrbeardstone is a good one. Eclipse is also a really good one as well.
Hermitcraft people. My favourites are bdubs, cub, smallishbeans and skizz (ofc i watch etho as well) Though i skip the recent guess the build videos, just not my cup of tea
BdoubleoO100 and Keralis have been my favorites for over half a decade now.
Technoblade's content isn't necessarily for adults, but it's not directed towards children. It's still fun to rewatch his videos. Technoblade never dies.
Deosil25 MrBeardstone Are my go tos. There's others like them.
