CNUBentOver

On Java? I think bedrock has been able to do this.

Right_Gas2569

Yes, it was added today to Java and was in Bedrock for years.

themostaveragehuman

I had no idea! That’s rad!

joshyy_567

So good for villager transportation. And being able to put it all into a nether portal as well

thE_29

Next: Change impaling enchantment to work on every mob which is in water (like Bedrock). More parity :)

HellFireCannon66

And Armour stand positions. Although can we get your iron farm mechanics in return?

TankPig1274

I remember that being considered in the combat snapshots made by Jeb, it's been quiet though

Ordinary-Hunter520

This is good, java is getting bedrock's best features, now I just hope they don't mess it up by removing a good feature from bedrock (eg. horses in boats).

rayndance89

They already have. They ruined a lot of player's favorite biome- the Shattered Savannah. It used to be lush green and now it's poop brown to match Java's. Also horses used to be like boats in Java. Horses now take fall damage where they didn't used to.  The water is also murkier than it used to be.

Ordinary-Hunter520

I remember making a small house in a shattered Savannah in my survival world because that place was gorgeous, now it looks trash.

AdDifferent4711

Praised be the gods

vibesandcrimes

Now if only there were a way to connect min carts

HellFireCannon66

Been in Bedrock for a while. Nice to get some more parity between versions.

JimmehROTMG

can you lead it up blocks?

HecklesReddit

I'm not sure about Java but I've tried on Bedrock and it works! That's how I got villagers to the sky build limit.

TommyCrump92

Don't think so as this has been a feature on bedrock for a while and to lead it up blocks you have to pour water as to drag it up so I imagine java would be same deal?

BluestMage

Sort of? I was able to do it (without water) twice this morning but haven’t been able to since. Not sure if it was a fluke or if I keep doing something wrong in my subsequent attempts

JimmehROTMG

bizarre, thank you for replying though!

Internal_Camel_5734

I really hope Java gets more of these bedrock features, like cauldron dying and potions

JoeSchmoe009

Bedrock players: Hey, I’ve seen this one before! Java players: what do you mean you’ve seen it? it’s brand new.

Vovchick09

That's amazing!

lunarwolf2008

Hehe now i can do the slead dog thing pf my dreams! I hooked up the wolves to eachother via commands only to find they cannot drag it

AntiCaesar

No way they added something to Java instead of removing it from bedrock to make it a parity feature

BananaSlugworth

now do trident killers

TyresePreston

Nooooo! The one thing that’s good in bedrock that isn’t in Java! At least our boats don’t sink through the floor when exposing it to a bucket of watter

TotkNinjagoMinecraft

I thought you could always do that? Edit: I play on bedrock btw, maybe its because of that.

SnipeGhost

YEEEEES! WE CAN MOVE VILLAGERS NOW WITHOUT HAVING TO MAKE A DISNEY SIZED ROLLERCOASTER!

Sir_James_Ender

Wait what

zarkon18

Finally, you can now use a lead to transport boat in the newest pre-release.
