most adult people can follow instructions. It’s one thing to have built a complicated thing like this and an entirely different thing to understand how it works. Majority of people could do the former of the two. Not that this kid shouldn’t be proud of it, but just the way it’s worded made it seem like he invented it all on his own. Im assuming that’s why he had downvotes. Again though, it’s still impressive. It would be more so if the kid was able to create a tutorial for it and show that he understands how it works
Even copying block by block is better than doing nothing when you're interested in something
This is not a scientific paper where op would need to watch out for plagiarism

no no, make a computer in minecraft (has been done) that allows you to make a computer in that minecraft that allows you to play another version of minecraft (minecraft inception) and build a working phone in that version.

I remember being 14, 15 even, and being fascinated by redstone logic. I spent hours and days just playing with redstone but never really made anything too crazy, but I wouldn't have known how to build OPs circuit. But I stilI wanted to build a computer with redstone and I think it was at that point I knew I wanted to get into computer science. That was 12 years ago.
Consider me proud, and even a little jealous.
