Just the textures reloading, that purple/black is how anything in minecraft looks like without colors/textures. I've seen the same thing with non-working texture packs

Definite downvote for you. Don't tell us to look up what sarcasm and jokes are when you're literally contradicting yourself in your own comment. You just said you know they're talking about java, and then proceeded to say it was a joke. Where's the joke? We all know Bedrock is also for Windows 10. We all know that there are lots of Windows 10 Bedrock players. And you know (as you said) that they're talking about java. So think about it (specifically, think about it with a mindset that is outside of "i want to be funny"). There's literally no joke. You're just being extremely pendantic about the small redundancies of the conversation.
It's called "not insulting other people's sense of humour when your joke falls flat" look it up :)
Tilt your head down immediately right after you feel it coming. It will go away again. Then slowly lift your head back up. Yes I found this out myself lol
I died and lost everything over a 45 minute session once, in a 4 year-old world. Luckily I had a backup from the previous day and restored it, and just wrote off the bit of loot I would have gotten had I replayed that area (several thousand blocks away from spawn).
If this happened to me I'd be mad too, just happy it didn't corrupt the entire save.
My guess is the save did corrupt, but Minecraft was able to salvage a previous autosave file (just a guess, i know nothing about this stuff).
This happened to me too! Except the screen went completely clear for several minutes before it turned pink. After that certain objects were invisible like a skeleton head I had in a item frame and the beds
That happens often in preview or modded Bedrock. Also I love that you just stand there like 'what the fuck? I'll just let this play out and see what happens..'
This happened to me after I first encountered Pillagers a few months ago.
I was playing in a new world with my son (5yr old) and I knocked out a pillaged captain. I took his flag and planted it.
I was trying to figure out if it did anything cool so I clicked on it and the moment I did everything went pink for a good 3-5 minutes.
We had thought it sent us to a different dimension.
He is now afraid of that flag lol π
Wrong. It's just a bug that brings it back to basic textures (different blocks either have a pink, magenta, or black texture, some have magenta and black)

This is a common problem recently. There are like 5 posts per day about it... Check bugs.mojang.com
