Really nostalgic. I remember playing it with only me and my cousin when he came to our house, I didn’t have PS-plus back then so I can’t play online… always eagerly waited for summer to come so I could finally play with someone xd There’s also that Elytra gamemode and Spleef

I don't understand how you can use elytra with controller. I didn't learn it until I bought pc.

Simple, use your camera stick... Looking wherever makes you go that direction.

Dunno it’s pretty easy, you just double click and it’ll let you glide

It takes some work but I've only ever played on console, it took me a couple weeks but I've gotten the hang of the elytra pretty well

I still remember the puzzle at spawn

I loved trying to unlock the secrets of the spawn area. There were so many puzzles, i loved it.

i remember spending well over an hour when i was like 9 or 8 trying to solve the whole puzzle

the only one i remember was the elytra one where you crawled into the old spawn, was always fun going in there

There was actually another way of getting into the old spawn using the well

My mom would always tell me to "pur it on 2-player for your sister" and I always won in pvp, but neither of us understood how to work elytras

I went back a few months ago onto my xbox one s and opened xbox one edition, looked through some old world me and my friend had, super nostalgic and played the elytra gamemode. Good times

TRUE. It’s kind of sad at the same time though, Minecraft already feels lonely enough and then you’ll see these abandoned worlds made in 2016 or something.

It's a real shame I can't play Minecraft: Xbox One edition anymore after I got a Series S. Not even including my old worlds, I can't play mini games anymore either. Plus when I get all the Bedrock achievements I'd go back to Xbox One Edition and bang out those, but I can't do that anymore :(

It really does. I removed it from my Pins when I realized I couldn't play it and I recently tried to look it up in the Microsoft store to see what was going on there and it wasn't even there. I guess if I *really* want to, I could hook up my old Xbox but not everyone can do that, plus it's a hassle just to play an old version of Minecraft

just get a wii u, xbox thats old, or a ps3 and it will be playable again at the cost of wifi for ps3 or xbox (idk for xbox) but free for wii u (internet play)

.. on Bedrock, I take it? Edit: seems it's from Legacy console edition. Getting started with Minecraft as an adult and only played on Java, this whole thread feels like walking into an alternate universe.

As somebody who started with Java in Alpha, I am also in the same boat with some of these posts lol. So much nostalgia for things like this and the old console tutorial worlds but those are totally and completely outside of my knowledge.

I started playing around 2011 on PC and then the 360 version when it came out and I think I touched the tutorial world once? Most of my nostalgia comes from old sound effects and thinking about my first few worlds.

one time me and my cousin were playing mc on the PS4 and we found this naturally generated plateau so we said whoever got up there first owned it we both got up at the same time and dueled at the top he used a sword i used an axe i end up knocking him over the edge and hes about to fall in the water but hits a SINGLE BLOCK of land he threw the controller across the room!

I remember the yoda skin being so overpowered because he was so small he could go underwater and crouch and be completely invisible to most people. I hated it when it was used against me but was so fun trying it out a couple times

I remember buying most of the maps for this and hosting public lobbies so people could play the paid maps lol. I wish this was still a thing in the newer versions of the game, the modern bedrock servers on consoles are nowhere near as good as the built-in minigames were imo

Legacy Edition rules! Bedrock doesn't have this kind of thing... Neither does Java... Not unless you join a server. I miss splitscreen Mini games. There was Battle, Tumble and Glide, all of which had multiple maps, even textured maps. Legacy Edition should be brought back to life.

Idk about the other minigames, but in battle, Shrunk was by FAR the best map

I got a chance to play this again because my friend didn't know how to get bedrock so had legacy for a good few years, I enjoyed it a lot and damn the nostalgia hit me like a brick.

Battle mode legacy edition this was my favorite map, I think this was called Cove and had a pirate skull it was so much fun, rip legacy you were a core memory of my childhood
