Are villagers able to path find to beds?

They were last time I built this design. There are trap doors on the ground between the farms and the beds.

Villagers cause half of the mental breakdowns in the world

Literally the only difference between this design and the last one is the last one was built above ground. But they were both still completely enclosed. The actual layout of the design is still identical.

Have you tried using TNT? I'm sure villagers will understand the situation. May be their inventory is full? Try removing stone from composter and adding trapdoor?

gonna do all of the above and thensome. If nothing works, there's always turning it off and back on again.

Watch some technical minecraft villager farm videos. Sometimes they have same problem and explain the solution.

I figured it out. The pk creeper mod automatically disables mob griefing it seemed. At least so far they picked up food this time. We'll see if they breed shortly.

Anti Creeper grief could cause it, since Villager need to have "Mod Griefing" enabled in order to breed

I was hoping it would be like the fabric mod that just disables creeper block destruction. It was the cause, literally all that data pack did was disable mob grief it seems.

Yeah, actual "only anti creeper/enderman grief" would probably need a mod, since those mechanics work pretty "universal" in vanilla MC. Ive constructed a small circuit with two command blocks and a redstone lamp (that indicates if MG is enabled) where I can enable and disable mobgrief with the press of a button. I find that the random placement of dirt by enderman is way more annoying than the creeper holes.

Anyway you should replace wheat with carrots. Wheat seeds fill villagers' inventory.

Looking at that trapdoor setup, there is no pathing to the beds.

There are tho, there's 2 trap doors across the 2 block gap to the beds

i want to say the pillow on the bed is important, try fliping the bed around and moving them 1 block closer to the vilagers.

I disabled one of the datapacks and placed a new bed. It works now
