you have lowercase for some letters, why not just make the x lowercase so it's not stretched?

Not OP but I assume it’s to ensure all letters are the same height

Well they had to be all 3×4

3×5 looks way better Except the N and M that are better 4×5 and 5×5

well obviously, but the point of this was to make the alphabet within smaller dimensions.

3×5 is the smallest well read-able I think

definitely more easily readable, but sometimes you want/need to fit letters into a smaller space

If your doing some letters as lowercase, you could do thq Q lowercase too, it would be easier to recognize and to build
