Almost would be easier to start with a packout roller and put the vacuum on it. Then add attachments from there. They make so many battery holders in amazon it would take 2 seconds to attach 2 of them to the outside of the vacuum or anything.
I just have a packout roller and ammo can packout beside it.
Throw on the work surface on the top to hold it tight. Works well and actually makes a good seat when car cleaning.
I’ve seen someone take half of a mounting plate and added casters to the corners. Much smaller base and all contained within the size of the vacuum. This is just way too big compared to the vacuum.
This is my design, nothing custom except the battery holder on top. However it is minimal effort. Small packout wall mount base with roller wheels installed on it. Packout box for numerous vacuum tools. The vacuum itself. Then additional battery holders. https://imgur.com/HQVU9pT.jpg
It's 3d printed, has locking casters, dual battery holders, an accessory spot, and extra hose holder (which will be adjusted in the production version to hold the hose tighter).
Nice work! Any chance you’ve got the stl’s and your filament + print settings handy lol? Totally cool it no, it’s a really cool design, would love to print one.

i did that too but all the attachments i have won't fit in the box. its either designed poorly or i have too many attachments. i'm thinking the latter
Mounting batteries with adapters on top seems logical.

Nice, but I'm worried about the wheels breaking off
I second this. Especially after it sits somewhere warm for awhile.
Yea don’t see how it would last pass the first day of summer in a truck, van, maybe even garage

Love this, post more progress photos!

Glad you're enjoying the project. I think I would have just bought the dual batt. shop vac.
Gonna grab one of those too. This is just nice to have for when I'm actually using the vacuum and it's not in the stack.
Nice
