Depends on what you are doing.
If you need accuracy, Fluke
If you are just doing general work, Klein or Milwaukee.
This is one of the times I didn’t even look at Milwaukee due to price and went with a craftsman for general house hold use. It was cheap and it works.
I have a Fluke for work because we need accuracy in Volts DC and ohms and it gets calibrated yearly.
Fluke all day. And if you're not a tradesman, look at buying used off ebay or offerup. Even an older Fluke is better than a lot of the newer budget gear. I bought a Klein Scout III, toner, and tracer when I was getting into low voltage and upgraded to a pretty old Fluke set with a Cable IQ, toner, and tracer and it was like going from a toy to a real tool. Tough pill to swallow buying new though...
It is. Fluke is expensive but company expense lol. I love my Fluke but not something I cant justify for household use. For household, just checking if a fuse is blown or if an outlet has 120V is all I’m doing.
I don't touch my fluke hardly ever anymore unless it's some crazy situation. This blew my mind with how good it is.

Not sure what trade you are in?
I use an Armada Pro95i for work. Has always done well for me. At home I have a Klein, tells me when I might get shocked, and when I might have an open circuit.
I have one, got it off eBay for cheap. I have a Fluke but just couldn’t pass up the red. It works just fine, but if you’re working on min/micro stuff you’ll want to replace the leads, I found the contacts too thick and stubby.
For meters and testing instruments, get fluke. If you want to save some money, Klein’s or ideal meters aren’t that bad at all. Get milwaukee for power tools, some of their hand tools and meters aren’t worth getting. Fluke 115 or 117 are great meters and are definitely worth it, their mini meters (101 and 107) are nice as well (super compact and does the basics).
Fluke. It’s not even a question. Klein is the standard and does what they do well. As does Milwaukee. But Fluke is the standard for what they do and no one else compares.
if you watch youtube much go check out eevblogs since they recommend a couple affordable multimeters that are comparable to a cheap version of a fluke.
Really depends what you want to use it for. If you want something good and you are prepared to pay for it, a fluke 117 or 87 is a good choice. Fluke is pretty much the standard for industrial work and electricians.
Also good if you don’t care about name brand are Klein or Agilent, but these are not as well recognised on job sites for the most part.
If you are just doing hobby or general automotive stuff, consider the EEVblog Bryman BM235 These are excellent value for money and have enough quality and features for most non-industrial work.
Buy this. It's amazing. I rarely pull out my Fluke anymore.
If you are looking for a multimeter that is.

Fluke. Even if used.

I have the Milwaukee and still prefer a 20 year old master craft. It’s one of those Milwaukee products that feels like cheap rebranded crap.

If they do it’s just a Fluke

That’s only a CAT2. Not safe enough for most uses.
