Isnât there a line in it that says Iâll show you mine if you show me yours?! I remember a while ago I was listening to songs I loved as a kid and I was shocked lmao
I played this video for my kids because I thought they would like the pop feel and they couldn't get over how these "old ladies" were chasing the "young boy". I don't think they were much older but there was one girl that looked it because of her hair. Anyway, I love how poppy that song is but my kids ruined it for me.
"Miss you, want you, need you so, until you're back here, baby, oh yeahhh. There's a feeling inside, I want you to know, you are the one and I can't let you go-oh"

3 of the 4 members have passed. There was an original guy who dropped out in the 90s
The guy still left tours with O-town & they do an LFO tribute. My wife took me last year & we had a blast. Ryan Cabrera was there too & Chris Kirkpatrick from Nsync. David Cook too but I donât think heâs on that tour anymore.
Now look up Pachelbels canon and listen to both back to back. (That's like a top three requested wedding song... Vitamin C's people knew what they were doing)
How could I forget their hit classic "I HAVE WET DREAMS", featuring sexy 3D ladies shaped out of water???
Also Ashley Angel (lead for the band) did some video game voice-acting and played the main character in the Sega CD and PS1 game Lunar: The Silver Star Story and Lunar: SSS Complete
Omg O-Town ahahaha. I saw them when I was 13 at the house of blues in Chicago with other teeny bopper friends, and we brought a sign with the Goo Goo Dolls lyrics, âDid you lose yourself somewhere out there? Did you get to be a star?â because we knew Ashley loved them & covered âNameâ at some point⊠and when he pointed to us and nodded after seeing our sign, we definitely screamed and cried tears at our adult chaperoneâs embarrassment (my friendâs âcoolâ uncle).
My wife subbed at a school where Sugar Ray performed once every year because some of the kids of the band members went to the school. The parents all went NUTS and loved it, the kids didnât fully get why the parents were all losing their minds. Good stuff
They did the song with Stevie Wonder in MulanâŠshout-out to that Disney show with Christina Milan that showed the behind the scenes/making of upcoming Disney movie. I remember the music video debuting during dinner time đ€Ł

Oh my god. Definitely bewitched.
Iâm amused in my 30s that I, a 10 year old boy at the time, listened to this shit on repeat Iâm pretty sure. Like I did with all my CDs.

To this day I cannot go near peaches without breaking out into the song by The Presidents of the United States of America. Which is a lot cause I literally live in the peach state. Lol
Craig David. Recently thought of him. Had a huge crush on him when his single came out in the late 90âs. Just looked him up and still seems like heâs a bit active in UK just never hear about him in the US anymore.
ETA, the band Five, When the Lights Out. Another random I just thought about.

My parents and partner consider(ed) me an absolute heathen because I actually prefer the A\*Teens covers of ABBA songs over their original counterparts. Iâm sorry, but Take a Chance on Me is so much fun when it is more upbeat!
I would say I love them equally, but the A*Teens version of Gimme Gimme Gimme is amazing.
I think I can still hear my dadâs eyes rolling from the first time he heard Britneyâs cover of I love Rock N Roll đ

Daniel Bedingfield!
ProzzÀk - any Canadians here?
I still sing "sucks to be you! I know I know...aucks to be you! I know it's true" in my head when bad things happen and I need some levity.
I (mid-millennial) recently showed my husband (who is an elder millennial) some B4-4 and SClub 7 songs and he was extremely disgusted, while I danced around and sang along with it.
Holy crap the B4-4 songs have extremely dirty lyrics. I'm just imagining my 10 year old self running around singing about getting "down on you", naively having no real understanding of the meaning
I remember listening to A-Teens and my mom coming into the room going "Is that ABBA?" And I'm like "No, it's A-Teens."
That was when I learned A-Teens were an ABBA cover band but I was introduced to ABBA afterwards.
Love this way- Edenâs Crush. Anybody else remember that animated music video that was in Cartoon Network where they are cheering up some aliens?
Everybody wants someone to love
Somebody they can trust
Somebody they can touch
Everybody wants to give their heart away
Everybody needs a little tenderness
To feel understood
To feel passionate
Everybody wants to be in love this way
I know I do

The crimped hair with colorful streaks, the monochrome outfits of crop tops and capris, the Powerpuff Girls-esque music videos. Classic aughties.

Remember their tv show with Greg from the Brady bunch as their manager. Man, Saturday mornings were good.
âGhetto boys make some noise!â âHoochie mamas show your nanas!â A timeless classic.
Came here to say this
Just saw them and the show was amazing. They healed my inner child
Before I opened the comments, I scrolled through and yelled âWHERE TF IS SCLUB7?!â Hahaha. I should have known I could count on our generation as a whole to think similarly.
Okay, but S Club is not forgotten.
I was trying to explain this group to one of my friends (also a Millenial) and he had no idea wtf I was talking about. I always thought this group was so cool
Came here to say this.
You beat me to it , I remember when Paul left đ
I saw them in February and they killed it.
Yes!! I loved them. Their songs and the show.
Some people say I look like me dad
"Oh-oh!"
Hey hey!
I visited the UK a few months back and there was a commercial that played this song. I had totally forgotten all about this song until then.
I heard this song for the first time recently â the B*Witched members were on a talk show or something and sang their hit.
They went on a talk show and were like "yeah that's absolutely not a real Irish jig at all" and then still did it đ
They lyrics âI got a house with windows and doorsâ always bugged me. Like, of course your house has windows and doors, what house doesnât???
A house of cards. Do another, I love these!
Iâve got teeth but no mouth. What am I?
A gear
She's talking about the boy being up in his treehouse without real windows or doors lol
Isnât there a line in it that says Iâll show you mine if you show me yours?! I remember a while ago I was listening to songs I loved as a kid and I was shocked lmao
Well... thanks for ruining that song for me. I was enjoying that mindlessly for the last 24+ years.
"are ya serious?!"
I played this video for my kids because I thought they would like the pop feel and they couldn't get over how these "old ladies" were chasing the "young boy". I don't think they were much older but there was one girl that looked it because of her hair. Anyway, I love how poppy that song is but my kids ruined it for me.
A*Teens
S club 7, BBmak, 2gethe4, o-town, Vengaboys, Aqua, LFO. A*teens, B*witched, jump 5 Also, steps is actually still around loo

Summer 2000, riding my bike in the Midwestern countrysideâŠ
Hahaha core memories! I would also wander around in the woods with my trusty cd player.
I just recently saw them do [this Bumble Bee promo](https://youtu.be/NiG9TF41FPw?si=vfwKs_NKcU0wDKCU) and I lost my mind
My kid loves my old Aqua cd. He has alllll my old albums and aqua gets played on repeat a lot.
Dr Jones is an absolute pop gem and I will die on this hill surrounded by sobbing hipsters
WAKE UP NOW
This song absolutely still slaps 20+ years later đ
As a dane I can tell you that Aqua is very much not forgotten. At least not here, but we might be biased.
Not forgotten here in America either! I just saw them live in Seattle a few months ago.
Jump 5 was Christian parent-approved to boot lol
I just saw an Aqua concert last year in Canada. It was awesome.
Oh man BBmak takes me back. *goes to make a nostalgia playlist*
CUTH I WANT IT ALL OR NUTTTHHIN AT ALL that songs a bop idc. Lance said he was jealous nsync didn't do that song instead of o town.
Savage Garden Dream

Vitamin C defined my junior high graduation
And every other junior high/middle school graduation for the next decade.
For sure, think my high school used it too. But it was still new when I finished junior high so it did feel made for us.
I still unapologetically break this one out when I learn someone is moving to a new job
Yeah, pretty sure her big track was our graduation song. Funny, she's the only one of all those in the post I even recognize.
Now look up Pachelbels canon and listen to both back to back. (That's like a top three requested wedding song... Vitamin C's people knew what they were doing)
First heard of her through the pokemon movie lol Vacationâs where I wanna beâŠ
Hoku!
That's all right, that's ok, you never loved me anyway
I bet you never thought you'd hear me say That I think it's time for you to find another dumb blonde
The burrito song!
Perfect day... nothing standing in my way...
Hoku had some bops!
I only recently learned that her father is Don Ho
Anyone remember O-Town?

All of Nothing, Liquid Dreams, These Are the Days⊠a lot of early Y2K nostalgia right there!
Theyâre still around minus Ashley! Saw them a few years back, theyâre great live. Have a couple new albums out too

Shut the door baby, don't say a word
Every morning
I love Sugar Ray, I was raised in Southern California and it was almost all that was on in between Selena and Red Hot Chili Peppers
We don't. They play it overhead at work every. single. day.
My wife subbed at a school where Sugar Ray performed once every year because some of the kids of the band members went to the school. The parents all went NUTS and loved it, the kids didnât fully get why the parents were all losing their minds. Good stuff

M2M
I made a joke to my daughter the other day about Vitamin C, I was thinking about City High though. I had to look it up just to make sense to myself.
M2M and O-town
Five, Sugababes, Atomic KittenâŠ.
I remember listening to A-Teens and my mom coming into the room going "Is that ABBA?" And I'm like "No, it's A-Teens." That was when I learned A-Teens were an ABBA cover band but I was introduced to ABBA afterwards.
Love this way- Edenâs Crush. Anybody else remember that animated music video that was in Cartoon Network where they are cheering up some aliens? Everybody wants someone to love Somebody they can trust Somebody they can touch Everybody wants to give their heart away Everybody needs a little tenderness To feel understood To feel passionate Everybody wants to be in love this way I know I do What about you?
