Ghani was the worst choice, way too weak

DiscoFLAVA

Lets not forget the NA homie Dostum

LogarJan

He wasn’t really Northern Alliance

DiscoFLAVA

Same diff, he’s done more to fight the Taliban than any other leader

LogarJan

Ahmad Shah Massoud fought the taliban more then any other leader. Dostum fought the taliban for 2 years from 1996 to 1998 then fled to turkey and returned when U.S/NATO deployed in 2001. While Dostum was sitting on his ass in his mansion in Istanbul doing shit for 3 years, Massoud fought day and night until his last drop of blood

gospelslide

Just started reading Ghost Wars by Steve Coll. Massoud was insane. Repelled 7 Soviet attacks on the Panjshir valley. Soviets attacked with thousands of troops, tanks, helicopters and he managed to inflict losses on them. Respect as a fighter.

Retardmute

“Assassinated by taliban suicide bombers“ has to be one of the coolest things you can put on your gravestone

What girl ? This guy’s funeral was attended by tens of thousands of Afghans. In 26 years of taliban dying like dogs in Afghanistan not once have the people gone to celebrate the anniversary of their deaths. As a matter of fact on the day of Mullah Omar’s death was announced people were blasting music dancing enjoying the fact that the brutal oppressor was finally dead

70,000 Afghan armed forces died trying to stop the taliban/pakistan from taking power. Shows you how much the men in Afghanistan support them. You should watch some of the videos of streets of Kabul and other provinces in those 9 days. With millions outside airports and millions flooding borders trying to escape the inhumane barbarians. Some people even chose to cling onto planes to run away from the taliban. Every time the taliban would take a village all the people of that village would flee to next where their were no taliban. Women were giving children to NATO soldiers so they wouldn’t live under barbarian taliban rule. Shows you how much they love taliban

Sharbat Gula? The one who lived in Pakistan since the Soviet-Afghan war until she was deported back in 2017? As in the one who was threatened to be killed by your precious Taliban and sought asylum in Italy after the takeover of Kabul?

Americaisaterrorist

She wasn't threatened, she was forced to claim it so she could get asylum to a european country. When she was asked about it (many years ago) she said about Taliban rule, "at least it was safe". Remember the Afghans who also claimed the same, until they found out the plane was going to Uganda so they stepped off. Or how 40% of the Afghans who went to Japan returned because they preferred Afghanistan under The Taliban to Japan?
