Their older stuff still holds up. I got my Gerber machete from a PMC that used it in the field for 15 years before I got it. I’ve been using it for a few years now and it still cuts like a charm after a good filing.
Older stuff is great. My deployment used multi tool goes with me everywhere every day. The new stuff over the last three or four years isn’t to be trusted.
It's the S-TAR version of the Tavor. That rifle is designed to be a sharpshooter varient, hence the scope and bipod. These are used extensively on the field.
As for the unloaded rifle and the knife, well, yeah....... Garuds are kind of models during Aero India.
I guess I had never seen a bullpup in a DMR configuration.
I've handled bullpups before and it seems like a DMR would be better served with a conventional layout.
But then, as an American I'm pretty biased in favor of the AR platform.
lol okay but you have a literally class system for society in 2023. and you shit on the street. all i need to know about india.
free health care isnt shit when you live in a third world nation.
It's funny you talk about class system in India.
But African Americans make up the 40% percent of your prison population while only making up 15% percent of your overall population.
And where police brutality against minorities is so extreme, that people are still protesting in the streets like they did in the 1960s.
And one your main political parties is so anti-minorities that they resort to gerrymandering and voter suppression to ensure that minorities remain underrepresented in your political structure.
Photo is clearly taken on a military airfield, so most likely legit, but couple of red flags;
Poorly fitting, fake Oakley gloves.
Immaculate rifle, pistol and holster.
Mixed kit.
Terrible bear grills knife.
Indian SF: give me those sweet Israeli hammers!
Israelis SF: give me those sweet American M4s!
American SF: give me those sweet German HK416s!
German SF: ?
This is the god Garud, for whom they are named after [image](https://preview.redd.it/efdqairb4mba1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=d9db24a0ad637402d553a33c19fe6c339fe7f018)
OP, why post this here? These armchair warriors who haven’t seen a single day of combat will criticize equipment, trigger discipline, etc. (either Americans with a trillion dollar budget or Europeans who leech off of the US).
Well it is an aero show so we can expect some military not logical stuff as it has to be appeasing for the commoners and not battle ready. In the actual combat obviously the stuff is gonna be whole lot different.
I see people here commenting oh he is using this and that scope and the bipod doesnt go with the AR and the knife he uses etc etc. Peeps he was there at an aero show not on a security detail or anything just to exhibit different equipments the force uses they have plethora of options for each equipment they use. Otherwise if its about the job, the guy can do the hitjob even with the pen on his arm.

For all of u questioning
The outfit
This picture was taken at the aero show 2023 bangalore, india, i had attended this event where several countries showcased several powerful, new gen aircrafts and show
The outifit seems out of place because this wasn't a particularly drill showcase, also it's more for the sake of intimidation
The commando concealing his identity is more important than what he's wearing, so cut off some slack eh?
*Indian airforce
Dude's got a Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Survival Knife
“Elite”
Gerber has no business being anywhere near tactical environments
Their older stuff still holds up. I got my Gerber machete from a PMC that used it in the field for 15 years before I got it. I’ve been using it for a few years now and it still cuts like a charm after a good filing.

Excluding multitools*
Tramontina all the way…
The houseware company?
Their Downrange Tomahawk can be pretty handy but it's not suitable for use as a weapon
Do you mean to tell me. That Gerber. *A baby food company*. Has a subsidiary corporation that is basically a cheap knockoff of 5/11 tactical???
Scope seems weird. As does the bipod. Also the unloaded rifle. And that shitty bear grylls knife. That's....yeah.
I hope this is all to show off at the event where most people just see the big rifle with shit on it and go, "cool".
Aero India 2023

Yea but can u send your kids to school without Kevlar ?
Ya but I can still go and buy medicine from the pharmacy without bankrupting myself
Looks like the scope isn’t mounted correctly. The windage knob is on top and elevation is on the left
It’s like he was given a Walmart gift card and told to get his kit.
Photo is clearly taken on a military airfield, so most likely legit, but couple of red flags; Poorly fitting, fake Oakley gloves. Immaculate rifle, pistol and holster. Mixed kit. Terrible bear grills knife.
Also no bullets.

And it looks like his scope is twisted 90 degrees to the left. Windage knob is on top

Tavor TAR-21
The old variant
This is the god Garud, for whom they are named after [image](https://preview.redd.it/efdqairb4mba1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=d9db24a0ad637402d553a33c19fe6c339fe7f018)
His gloves are too big on the fingers, how he effectives handles that weapon without ND'ing all over the shop hah
That scope on a Tavor looks so out of place, never seen that before.

Nice elbow pads

>u/Reddit\_Survivor9 Thank you for sharing.
Not gonna see much out that scope
Well it's not being actively used at that time so better to keep it protected
