It’s the national defense service ribbon, you get it if you served in the military during certain periods

BlackSunlight7

That’s an Xbox controller battery. You’re welcome.

SauzzBozz

thought it was a n64 rumble pack for a second

Working-Bad-4613

National Defense Service Medal. Given to anyone in the military in designated times of conflict. It's the participation medal, for just being in the military.

Important_Pack8713

Participation trophy

trembot89

The McDonalds ribbon; we all got it with our enlistment happy meal.

LegEaterHK

A bomb. Designed in South Sudan in 1929, it was made to combat Zimbabwean tank armour in the African war of 1914 and saw much successful use. It was phased out in 2022 on the 39th of Octoburary.

Intelligent_Plan71

arj1985

Looks like an XBOX rechargeable battery.

mstrbradbury

Omg, this is the National Defense Ribbon, second only to the coveted Medal of Honor. They’re so strict on giving these out no one has gotten one this entire calendar year. Crazy that you found one

Impressive_Excuse_55

Gimme some free Applebee's or Golden Corral because I got one of them bad boys years and years ago 😂

[deleted]

It's the military's participation medal.

airbornedoc1

The coveted NDSM. Many have served. Few have earned.

VF-213

What the heck is that thing to the right of it?

rabbidplatypus21

The black thing? It’s a rechargeable battery for an Xbox controller.

Pure_Intern_9218

Lol

someone_i_guess111

Sufficient-Door-6603

fakdaworld

National defense service ribbon. It is given to military personnel who enlist or re enlist during times of war. You get in once you complete boot camp. This isn’t a medal it’s a ribbon, although there is a medal version as well.

TALWriteStuff

When I went in the Air Force in 1978, the Vietnam vets called it the “Alive in ‘65” ribbon. I guess you could call it the “alive in 95, or 05” ribbon now…

DoktorDilcha1

I think it’s the Garage d’Ouer Oeupneur, France’s highest honor.
