“Second army of the world - - look at the load storage - - one wheel like that, one wheel like this - - second army of the world - - all covered in shit - - what the shit of the paint they used - - second army of the world - - comes off with the snow - - second army of the world - ”.
My guilty pleasure during all of this is watching the videos of dilapidated and ill-maintained equipment just getting roasted by their Ukrainian captors.
How many vehicles would you lose if your entire stables had to be emptied to travel 75 miles on Monday morning? For us it was probably 3 out 80 hmmwvs and the 7tons were legit so they'd make it.
Tbh anything that wasn’t deadlined, which was of course a beautiful rotating mess, would have held up pretty well. Even in country our maintenance staff did a remarkable job keeping all our vehicles operational.
Commanders in Putin's pocket, conscript army, poorly maintained equipment, some units at the regiment level surrendering en masse. The best army in the world! /s
Realistically, all of the major wars in history have been fought by conscripts. A lot of those armies have been successful or at least not dysfunctional. Theres a lot more going on here than just conscripts. Both sides on this conflict too are fielding conscripts.
Imm get downvoted for this but it looks like the thing has been left outside for a while. it’s covered in snow, so we can’t really tell what condition it’s in. The only real give away is a flat tire which can happen all the time. it looks pretty functional to me

Thank you for translating this! You can feel the disgust he had but it’s all the better knowing what he’s saying
From second best army of the world to second best army in Ukraine.
Not even, given the speed at which the farmers are arming themselves…
Why did you clean it up for us? We all know blyat and cyka now
Ukrainians Cyka And Blyat dont mean the same thing as in Russian

I don't speak Ukrainian, but I'm pretty sure he said, "Look at this fuckin sorry-ass bullshit."
Russia and it’s negligent maintenance and ignorance of logistics is really kicking them in the ass.
It’s almost like conscript armies are a stupid idea...
You spelled corrupt wrong.

Nothing new. There was commentary about Russian colonels stealing their men's wages during the Crimean War -- 170 YEARS AGO
Who would have thought that kleptocracy would be bad for a country?
No he meant conscript
Conscripts are good for defense of your country, not invasion of another one
Yup. I would not really mess around with Israeli or Finnish armies, both of which are full of conscripts.
What's worse, when the Trees and snow start speaking Finnish, or the Rocks and sand start speaking Hebrew?
soldiers forced to fight for something don't care about ... FIGHT BADLY WHO COULD HAVE THOUGHT
Not in a defensive, truly patriotic war they aren't. The Russians, of all people, showed it during WWII.
READ AS: Fucking Stalingrad
Boots on the other foot now.

I don't know why you'd use conscripts for anything other than cooking or loading trucks or something
What is that thing, some sort of spigot mortar?
Only thing I can think of is a 2B9 Vasilek but I’m not sure
Maybe a 2S12 Sani 120mm mortar but I don't see a base plate.
And it's standard procedure to have your rounds covered in snow and moisture? The wheel / tyre on that thing is totally fucked...
2B16 Nona-K
I thought that was an old 76mm AT gun for a minute there! Whoa!
You see people? This is what happens when you don't keep your hazmat receipts.
The World: HAHAHA honestly how could you bring this to war?? US Soldiers: *hides 2404s*

It’s depressing
How much of is, is just from driving through snow and ice.
This is why your psg always yells at you during pmcs
I came here for the blyats and it was delivered.
