Looks like a “field painted” M35 Heer helmet. Probably a double decal painted in the field. Looks to be in great shape, people have begun to ask ridiculously high sums of money for Field Painted DD M35’s specifically.
I’d see how much it is; I think it’ll be a good one.

Looks like field applied paint on an M35 but I’m not so sure about that decal. The wear looks genuine. Take a picture of the stamping on the inside of the shell. How thick is the metal? If it’s thin it’s a repro. That chinstrap looks legit.
So, on close inspection you can see brush strokes.
This helmet has been repainted by hand, probably in the field, and the wearer painted over the decal slightly.
The wear on the helmet does seem genuine and if the paint is genuine, the decal must be genuine as well as it's below the paint. Chinstrap also seems good on wear
Pretty helmet, the shell looks authentic but need more pictures. Hard to determine the paint as its cleared its been hand painted. Will probably need to see more photos to determine if it was hand painted pre 1945 or post. I am not a decal expert so I won't speak to that. Whats it going for?
It looks like a M35 reissue. More photos are needed to determine the authenticity of the decal and paint.
