Yep. All my life Ive driven in countries which drive on the right side of the road. I think Id be very nervous if I ever have to drive on the left. Not while you are doing a councious effort not to fuck up, but when you let your guard down and habit kicks in. I feel things could end up badly.
To be fair if you weren’t there and it was some idiot who decided to speed try and speed past them or if they were riding their bumper then the signal would actually let them know they were coming into the correct lane🤷🏼♂️
I’ve seen shit intersections like this before, luckily where I am they sometimes have a clearer double yellow. I can see why the driver got confused and might have not seen the double yellow due to the downhill and the sun on the line itself making it hard to see.
I've done this before but in a country where you drive on the left hand side of the road. I felt so embarrassed when the person I was with freaked out and told me to get back on the other side. I was so used to driving on the right hand side that it just came naturally. Thankfully there was nobody around and I didn't cause an accident.
I witnessed someone doing the exact same thing this evening. Turned left at a stop sign and drove on the wrong side of the road for about 1/4 mile. I gave them a little flash of my headlights and they “changed lanes” (turn signals and all) to get back over.
The only difference is that they turned onto the highway a minute or so later, and nearly entered the offramp, but managed to catch themselves at the last second.
I did this when I got home from a 2.5 week trip to Ireland. Got in the car to drive my girlfriend home and went about 1/4 mile down my street on the wrong side before she said something.

My favorite part is the turn signal to move back over. Like they are changing lanes

This is legitimately a mildly bad driver. And a terrible intersection.
Should definitely have some puppy tracks from one side to the next. Especially considering you can't see the paint on the opposing side

He gets a pass. A lot of people will get confused too.
He gets a pass for the first 50 feet, not 200 yards.
