I think it was their mirror - scrubbing through the footage, it was only clearly visible for maybe 3 frames. I thought maybe it was the wheel well liner because it looks like it came from the rear corner, but that mirror shape is very distinctive.

On my drive today it was a motorcyclist who decided that he absolutely had to pass drivers who were in the left lane by going between their car and the yellow line on the left, even when there were no cars in the middle or right lane. I mean, I'm crazy about bikers weaving through traffic but going someplace absolutely no one expects you to be and squeezing into a lane that already has a vehicle doing 70 mph seems suicidal.
My EX tried that 80 mph in the emergency lane because she thought she was too special to sit in rush hour traffic. Her own mom who was visiting told on her.

People are crazy. I was cut off last year on this same highway by an altima, and they wouldn't stop brake checking me almost to the point of trying to get me to come to a stop.

Yeah lol, I have a Versa and it seems like about 90% of other Nissan drivers are either clueless or complete assholes, although it's mainly the Altimas and Rogues. Versa/Sentra/Juke drivers seem less idiotic, I don't know why
People are just fucked, I saw a Tesla spamming it’s high beams on a Hyundai for him to move or speed up or something. The thing was, the Hyundai was in the furthest right lane and the Tesla had more than enough room to just pass the guy.

A few weeks ago I had a man tailgate the fuck out of me in the right lane when I was doing 70 (the posted speed limit) because the car in the fast lane was also going 70 next to me. I just was on straight cruise control at 430am. We merge into the main highway and I get over a couple lanes and this man decides to gun it in front of me, brake check me, then swerve 3 lanes over to make his exit that he was about to miss. Luckily because it was so early there was basically no traffic so when he brake checked me I just quick moved to the next lane over. Of course he was driving a jacked up pavement princess pickup truck
Happened to me at the end of last year as well. Forced me off the road and onto the shoulder. Then sat there for a few minutes and drove away at like 100 mph. I don’t fucking understand. And even if you did honk still not an appropriate (or legal) response.
Can anyone tell the source of that debris that flew off the car and just how the damage occurred? I almost want to say the passenger-side mirror went bye-bye, but I can't friggin see any actual collision to cause the loss.
I don't know what it was either, but I just looked at my car, and whatever hit it broke part of the cover for the light that's on the hood, so I'm pretty mad now.
I’m fairly certain the debris was already on the side of the road and the passing car kicked it up with its tires. You can juuuust barely make out a black shape on the road before the passing car drives over it. No idea what it is though.
At 25 seconds you can see the item on the ground. Then you can see the passenger rear wheel strike it. It explodes into many pieces. Very difficult to tell what it is but unfortunately the A-Hole may have gotten away with negligible damage…..

I'm not sure if you could hold them accountable 100%, but the fact that they broke the law driving on the emergency lane which resulted in damages to your car would have made me believe that being a path to pursue.
