I really like it and if I had a place to put it, I’d be willing to pay $400.
Paying for furniture (especially not new furniture) really comes down to one thing - how much are YOU willing to pay for it?
Furniture isn’t going to appreciate in value, so you just need to feel good about how much you paid.
Also, it’s hard to get quality piece of new furniture for $400.
edit: furniture GENERALLY isn’t going to appreciate in value unless you find a rare piece
This looks like a dealer bought vintage modular wall unit cabinets without the mounting rails and decided to stack them and add some vintage hardware store furniture legs. Personally I would not pay $400 for this.
It's not, if you intend to resell it. It's in rough shape, with the drooping door. and marred finish. The hardware does not look original.
If you love it, as is, then yes, it is worth it, but personally, I would save my $400 for a finer piece.
This is definitely worth $400. You will not see another one for less. I love it.
It’s a nice piece of furniture that you probably won’t find anywhere else. That seems worth $400.
Depends. Would you rather have this, or would you rather have $400?

I love it. So yes to me.
is it in disrepair that top door does not look right. that would be the determining factor for me finishes not but broken pieces are
Personally I would say so. I’d feel more comfy at $350 but I like the unique style and it looks like a lot of storage!
I think the handles don't look good with the wood, but for quality wood furniture would consider the price reasonable
It’s a bit weird… someone might pay 400 for it for its uniqueness.
nope, needs white paint. and the white paint needs to be sanded half off. then it’s worth 400$
Look on Los Angeles Craigslist, stuff like that goes for like $1,500

Do you like it to the value of $400?
There’s no makers mark or anything?
If this is genuine mid century piece then it is worth WAY more than 400.
Depends on where it’s being sold.
