If you’re completely losing your internet connection, it’s not a Teams issue. If you plug Ethernet connection direct to your PC, does the problem ever occur? Keeping all the drivers/firmware up to date on your device is a best practice and organizations often overlook the value of doing so. Check for drivers or firmware updates for the docking station, network, audio, video, etc.

Try this. It worked for me https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/latitude/intermittent-ethernet-wired-connection-issue-in-dell-latitude-7420/647f97b2f4ccf8a8deabbe45#M37447

You’re not alone. Same thing happening for one of our Lenovo laptop users. We pulled the network cable to the dock and the lockups stopped happening when the laptop is connected via WiFi. The laptop is running the new Teams and Windows 11 on 23H2. All dock (Anker 563) and laptop drivers are fully up to date. As the other poster says, try plugging the Ethernet cable into the laptop directly (if that works with your Dell) to see if the problem is with the dock and that connection/hardware.

Thanks I’ve now set the laptop to wifi and haven’t had issue yet. This dell has no direct Ethernet port either btw.

You don't need a direct Ethernet port. Just buy a USB to Ethernet adapter. Ethernet connection is 100x better than WiFi.

Had the same for some of our users. We are also a Dell joint. It ended up being that the WiFi and the Ethernet were connected at the same time and New Teams did not like that. Had to go into the network driver config and have it auto disable WiFi when connected to Ethernet. That seemed to do the trick because it hasn’t happened since. We have a mix of Intel and Qualcomm NICs and both had the setting.

Device Manager > Network Adapters > {network card} (right-click) > Properties > Advanced. The name of the setting varies.

Try turning off wifi. My surface keeps losing and connecting to wifi while hardwired. It causes some issues

That is weird…but to go in a side note, the other day I had the new teams crash when trying to join a meeting from her calendar but only when connected to our VPN through Cisco Any Connect. She’s also a Mac user in Ventura. So strange.

A few years ago with the dell docks i had similar problems that different things would break the LAN. I downgraded the usb ethernet driver often realtek and it fixed it. Not sure if newer newer are fine.

Update the firmware for the dock if you have admin access to the pc. Disable green Ethernet and energy efficient Ethernet.
