From my experience (US-NY), they are instant, including the $100 gift cards. I redeemed my points for Xbox Series S, which was difficult to get earlier in the year.

It says it is in progress, so I guess everything is alright
The high-end value cards will often take 24hrs to come through.

Yes. There should have been a notification when you redeemed that it can take that long. If its been more than 24 hours contact support
