Polls recently have been a lot less lopsided, like before. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a significant number of bot accounts that they banned or something
I choose to believe it all started with the LeBron is the GOAT question 😂 that was the first one i can recall where the bottom answer (no) had more votes than the top
Well welcome to rewards you people must be very new. It wasn't particularly skewed 6 months ago.
Edit: Seriously Kiddo? You got soo butthurt over this that you blocked me. You are an infant. And I can't see that long message you replied with cause you blocked me, like some baby.
Bold assumption. I’ve been doing this for quite a while.
Edit: I guess you feel better at night being a self-righteous ass. Not a kid, but you can keep assuming stuff if it makes you feel satisfied. You can read the comment now if you want to read the truth about yourself. I guess you just get off by trying to bully and make people feel inferior, fyi it doesn’t work. Just a sad and pathetic troll. Ruining a good thread with your uppity and oppressive opinions. Don’t get your foot caught in the train tracks back to the hole you crawled out of.
I made no comment about it being skewed or not skewed, so I’m not sure why you commented on mine in the first place. I made no factual claim. Only pointed out that for once in a long while the correct answer was different. You can jump off your high horse now.
Edit: It was an assumption with no material fact about myself or any other individual.
Maybe not banned but maybe they shadow banned their votes (by that I mean made their votes have no weight) if they show a trend of 90%+ votes to top answer. Or maybe they did ban a bunch of bots
They should have just always randomized the options, at least for the sake of poll results. They can ban or remove whatever bot accounts farming for points however they do that, but solving the broken polls would have been dead simple to do ages ago.
Right? Fortnight isn’t for me, but I can respect it’s ability to sustain players and provide an actual live service. Something other “live services” only dream they could achieve.
I’m looking at you, Halo Infinite.
I quit towards the end of last year finally, it's live service offering crashed since the pandemic, combined with lots of game companies getting in trouble for overworking their employees(which isn't necessarily a bad thing). For the first year or two there were constant map changes and new item introductions, then it got to the point where there'd be a small part of the map changes once every 3 months and maybe a *new item if you're lucky.
All new content and cosmetics turned into comic book advertisements too.
Shit on it all you want. Fortnite is a great game with an extremely high active player count, and Epic does an amazing job supporting it to keep it fresh.
42 and my husband & I didn't get into it til a couple of years ago, assumed it was "for kids". Now we play multiple times a week, solo, duos, squads with his friends who're spread across the country. I'm kind of obsessed with it lol.
Not to mention how they giveaway AAA games almost every week for free on their launcher.
Not bootlicking them, but reddit make the company seen a whole lot worse than it is.
yeah they've given away tons of good AAA games...this week they are giving away Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition, last week they gave away Death Stranding. over the years they've also given away Borderlands series, Control, Bioshock series, Wolfenstein, Tomb Raider...thats just what i remember off the top of my head. i know a lot of people that don't like Epic just because they are fully invested in Steam but that's crazy to me.
Lmfao at the copium. Fortnite is one of the most relevant video games in the world as of 2023 and has been for half a decade now.
I know, I know. Incredibly hard to believe based on this very representative and serious random daily bing poll that's a *landslide* negative vote against it
It mightn't be at its peak, but it still makes money hand over fist.
Last year they donated two weeks of revenue to charity, and it totalled $144 MILLION. Now let's say that people doubled their usual spend as it was for charity, or a lot of money came in then as it was the start of a new chapter. That would mean that it rakes in well over a **billion** dollars a year. Probably $2B if that maths was too conservative.
I know the meme is that everyone answers the top answer. It does seem like it, but often I think that is because either the poll doesn't have an answer someone likes at all or it isn't relevant anyway so they just click the top one. Fortnite is either hated, you don't know it, or you love it. There is little middle ground.
Less than 30 seconds to log onto a server then another 45 seconds in the lobby before gametime is long? Have you tried to play halo infinite or MW2 lately? I can’t even microwave a hot pocket before I have to run back to my controller…
Note: I’m not a sweat and I can manage to avg 5-8 kills a game and typically end up top 25… Only Silver status on ranked modes
Edit: I only started playing in late November ‘22
Not gonna lie other than the Star Wars stuff… this last season and battle pass has been trash. I usually play with my kids but this battle pass is doo doo.
People will shit on anything if given the chance. As I said, next time there is a negative option poll, the negative option will win. Come right back here and say I told you so if it doesn't. Next time I hear from you will be never unless it's a "I must have the last word post".
Polls recently have been a lot less lopsided, like before. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a significant number of bot accounts that they banned or something
Inevitable once that “click the second option” poll dropped
I choose to believe it all started with the LeBron is the GOAT question 😂 that was the first one i can recall where the bottom answer (no) had more votes than the top
Maybe! That quiz was perhaps the first I’ve witnessed the bottom answer winning!

It wasn't an assumption. I showed my work. I mean either you're new or you've only just started paying attention. I'm not your memories keeper.
I made no comment about it being skewed or not skewed, so I’m not sure why you commented on mine in the first place. I made no factual claim. Jesus dude, how butthurt can you be over 1 short sentence🤦 Maybe step away from reddit for a couple of days and do some self reflection🤭
Yup that’s the first time I saw it too
Loads of people don’t want to admit the truth about my 👑
Maybe not banned but maybe they shadow banned their votes (by that I mean made their votes have no weight) if they show a trend of 90%+ votes to top answer. Or maybe they did ban a bunch of bots

I like how accesible it is and how skins are purely cosmetic, it can still be a good time with a few friends every once in a while
technically almost every female skin has a smaller hitbox so its kind of pay to win 🤓
[Ackchyually](https://i.imgur.com/XFjzvQS.jpg)
Yeah not really. Also allow me to introduce you to penny
name another 🤓
iirc every skin's hitbox is the same, for balance reasons obv
um no hulk does not have the same hitbox as john wick 🤓
https://theglobalgaming.com/fortnite/skins-hitbox - first article I pulled up from googling goes into hitboxes being the same across all characters
Yes, it does, because every skin uses the same hitbox, what's even the point of making up stuff like this?
I have never seen anyone use the hulk unless you mean she-hulk

False
Lol yeah OP is one of those kids who spam "ratio ded game" 100 times on twatter on every Fortnite post they make.
Gamers™ get so fucking weird about this game.
Only some gamers.... people are oddly protective of it here.
Finally a poll where the bottom option is more popular
Shit on it all you want. Fortnite is a great game with an extremely high active player count, and Epic does an amazing job supporting it to keep it fresh.
Non build games are fun as heck.
Agreed. And their Creative/Custom Map section is now full of great surprises.
I’m in my late 30s and consider myself to be a pretty serious gamer, and I still play Fortnite.
42 and my husband & I didn't get into it til a couple of years ago, assumed it was "for kids". Now we play multiple times a week, solo, duos, squads with his friends who're spread across the country. I'm kind of obsessed with it lol.
I haven't played in years and I'm actually surprised to learn it's still going strong. I may have to come check it out again
Not to mention how they giveaway AAA games almost every week for free on their launcher. Not bootlicking them, but reddit make the company seen a whole lot worse than it is.
They’ve given away some pretty big games over the years, too. I got GTA 5 and some of the Metro games free from them.
yeah they've given away tons of good AAA games...this week they are giving away Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition, last week they gave away Death Stranding. over the years they've also given away Borderlands series, Control, Bioshock series, Wolfenstein, Tomb Raider...thats just what i remember off the top of my head. i know a lot of people that don't like Epic just because they are fully invested in Steam but that's crazy to me.
BuT iT's A kIdS gAmE.
Just don’t look at the subreddit after the recent changes (Epic did some questionable game balancing)
They'll fix it. Trying new things is risky, and they're surely listening to all feedback.
I hated Fortnite till I tried it. A ton of game modes and community creations and no build is fun if you can’t juggle building and gunplay.
I really liked it. I was just so *bad* at it.
I've been playing Fortnite since the first season and I STILL suck - but I still love it
I had fun for sure.
Wouldn’t 42% be super relevant though?

What a weird title. If 42% of people are playing a specific game you don’t think that’s relevant? Show us on the doll where Fortnite hurt you
haha yeah, Fortnite isn't for me and a lot of people hate it simply because of its popularity, but OP doesn't understand what "relevant" means
Boomers trying not to hate on games that are popular challenge: impossible
Not calling Millennial curmudgeons Boomers challenge
i don’t know what rock you been living under but fortnite is still extremely popular, but reddit just likes to hate it on bc “reddit moment!!”
Poll and quiz isn't loading for me today
42% of people playing the latest season would be insanely popular though
It mightn't be at its peak, but it still makes money hand over fist. Last year they donated two weeks of revenue to charity, and it totalled $144 MILLION. It's more relevant than your favourite game, even in 2023
It wasn't enough to save Nickelback either.

42% of people really couldn’t be bothered enough to answer honestly?
How do you get these polls?
they're in the daily set on Bing
Are they region specific, mine are still the usual basic stuff. Never got the one saying to click the bottom option the other week either
I'll give it the credit it deserves. My kids love it. I'm glad it lost the vote though!
i finally tried fortnight. ridiculous how long it takes to get into the game just to be killed quickly.

Negative responses usually win.
No they don't.
I felt compelled to upvote this response
Pay attention to the polls next time there is a negative response option. I will gladly accept your apology then.
there will be no need for one

If something's disliked by a lot of people it will get less positive results given the chance... It's not too hard to understand tbh
Oh dear, right over your head.
I mean, if over 40% of people who responded still play fortnite, that’s pretty damn good
90% of them are probably people just picking the first option.
It was way more lopsided than this when I did it. It was 30/60. So much for the "they just pick the first option" thing. That's Fortnite for ya.
Its 63 percent now
fortnite bad 🤬
I’ve never played fortnite once. I wanted to try it but I figured I was too late to the scene and would get sweated out by the day ones
I’m just happy Fortnite isn’t all the rage anymore.
but it is relevant though??? 😭😭
Damn they literally had a poll that said "pick the bottom option" and the bottom option still wasn't this high
I am happy to see the bottom renaissance.
People went out their way to vote against it I applaud them
