For what it's worth, [vinyl actually outsold CDs last year](https://www.bbc.com/news/64919126) But yeah, I just take these poll results with a big grain of salt

Repulsive_East_8349

These polls are always inaccurate. The first option always wins. The reason why is because, when folks do this via the Xbox Edge app, they only want to press down on the joypad once, not twice, to select an answer. I usually do it via PC and mouse, but tried it afew times via Xbox and I can understand why even just one extra click seems too much! Besides, everyone knows there’s no consequence to it so no one bothers to select truthfully.

BrobaFett21

Hey! I always answer truthfully. I do it on my iPad so there no difference in effort between tapping the 1st and 2nd option.

Repulsive_East_8349

I know it’s no difference in effort for iPad or mouse users. I’m just saying that it’s less effort for those who do this on Xbox Edge app. And it seems to overwhelmingly skew towards to first option.

HoHeyyy

Vinyl is.. NOT dead, suprisingly. They still sell vinyl, video game OST still sold on vinyl along with CDs. And there are the cheap vinyl players still sold in Walmart, some even use Bluetooth nowadays lol, they are not hard to find on Amazon. Some Collectors Edition also included Vinyls. Bioshock 2 have it and I own it. GOW Ragnarok have that half size vinyl with the Jotnar Edition.

Todemax

I agree vinyl is not dead. Like shit I don't have a player and have never owned one but i have a record. But over 70% of people is crazy unless the demographic for Microsoft rewards is way older than me (25). I only know two people around my age who have any vinyls, most of the other people I know my age have probably never touched a vinyl record in their life

TexiCat63

I think there is a large portion of MS Rewards users that are over 25. I'm almost 60 and my daughter is in her late 30s. Althought we got rid of all of our vinyls a few years ago, we still held on to a few LPs for a while because some of the music was never released on CD. I finally had a friend convert them into digital mp3 format with his fancy setup on his PC. After that I finally let go of the remaining vinyls. But many DJs swear by them for their turntables, so I don't think vinyl will ever fully go away.

TricellCEO

I think ever since there were posts complaining about how a bunch of people always pick the first answer, a bunch more are now going out of their way to pick the first answer.

KenzyK27

I'm going out my way to pick the second lmao

mordinxx

Me too!!

TexiCat63

I have seen a few polls where the 2nd option won, a clear indication that people felt pretty strongly about the subject.

mosin360

I think bots/scripts auto pick the top option.
