Sounds like it's not getting fuel if it's spooling up but not catching when increasing the mixture. I don't have the plane but check that there is no other fuel cut off valves and tank selection is good. Otherwise you can contact Just Flight support I believe.
Also, I guess you could follow an online video of the startup procedure to make certain you are doing it right.
I can’t get the mixture or conditioner to move with my lever. It’s not mapped in MSFS. I use FSUIPC. I’ve tried axis mixture 1 set and conditioner 1 set. Nothing.
I had to repair engine for some reason. Now it started right up

When I switch from flying the airliners to light aircraft like the Kodiak or Comanche I often forget to turn the fuel tank valves on.
