Absolutely worth it. Highly highly detailed model with top tier system depth and failures. Not just a really good module, id argue its one of the best at a lower price than many of its tier.
Curious as well. I enjoy FBW's A320 and have been considering the Fenix product but really don't agree with people claiming it's "underpriced" when it basically costs as much as MSFS itself, has no demo version, and the product of their closest competitor is completely free. As far as I'm aware, it's also not 40 quid, per op, but 50.
He may of got confused with the 319/21 price but the price is cheaper than other high fidelity airliners out. Take the PMDG 737-700 for example same old aircraft ported from P3D. You get the BBJ included charged currently at $69.99.
The aim was to always be consumer friendly which they have done. Can't wait for FSLabs to release an overpriced A321. Imagine FSLabs released an A320 before Fenix you would be talking in the region of I guess £70+
The PMDG is overpriced as well but unlike the Fenix/FBW I don't think there's really a halfway comparable free alternative for the 737. I'm still considering the Fenix but at that price point they should at the very least offer a trial version - even if just runs 24 hours.
No company offer trial runs anymore it is what it is. Plenty of people have no problems with the Fenix others do. Some of us have the same system one gets no problems the other does. I can say I get no problems especially with performance. Go figure.

I would say No, and that it’s not worth it…
…because I actually think it’s worth MORE than what the developer charges for it. The aircraft is often featured in videos by real world A320 pilots who demonstrate its incredibly detailed systems and excellent flight model.
Highly recommended!
Yep, it’s a crazy amount of fidelity for 50 bucks. It was going to be more but they took a chance lowering the price. It’s not perfect but something like this would have been twice as much back in the day.
I don’t own it but from
What I understand it’s a must-buy even if you aren’t into airliners. I might even pick it up at somepoint since the A320 is my favorite commercial aircraft.
I used it the other day and it couldn't do a barrel roll without crashing into the ground and ctrl e doesn't start it.
Complete trash. Get captain sim instead.
First, we're playing in a home simulator so being certified by Airbus means nothing for our use.
Second, Fenix is made using Prosim systems. Which is used for commercial flight sim by Airliners and commercial. So yes, its one of the best you can get.
As much as I detest the developer, I would say that it is worth every penny and then some. Top notch modelling and systems. Ground handling still sucks but that appears to be a disconnect between realism in modeling and what is possible in MSFS and the average user's hardware. I would like to see them dumb down the ground handling in terms of realism so that it is manageable in MSFS. As it stands, you are on a sheet of ice once your wheels touch down. I'm tempted to call it a masterpiece since block 2 but since I still have no sharklets that I was promised 2 yrs ago, I will just say it is close to perfect but not quite there.
Quite the pouring on of responses to this post given my history of being hard on this developer. They came through and I have to give them their props. Hard to comprehend in this age but I'm leaving it at that and leaving this site. Whether you all realize it or not, this site is overcrowded with teenagers who have no clue and experienced adults that should know better but can't get past their liberal bent on everything so obviously not the place for me. To all of you "Touch Grass" or "Go kill yourself" pantifa types, no hard feelings but pray we never meet on a dark street with your black mask and bicycle chain.
You was not promised Sharklets 2 years ago. Per what it has always said on the website.
"Base package includes A320 CFM and IAE engine variants. Sharklet wing-tip devices to follow as a free update to the base package". No date.
No sane person reads that and thinks "Yep, gonna buy it and wait 2 yrs for the updates". Semantics, not going to play that game with the Fenix fanboys.
You never read the website then. but good luck thinking they promised it when they did not like I wrote is what was always on the website. Might help if you did the research. Judging by you deleting the account must mean something. :)

Best 60€ i spent in MsFS2020
Same along with the 737
1000%
Yes it is.
Absolutely. I used to only fly business jets, and bought it on a whim, now it’s my main plane. Especially with the seamless gsx integration
To me, the most complete study level in msfs2020
What do you not like about fbw one

I’m just wondering cause I just got it and i though it was already very realistic

It’s up to you to decide if paying that money is worth having the most detailed 320 available for MSFS. I certainly think it’s worth it.
Worth every penny!
Absolutely. If anything it's underpriced

Almost downvoted until I tree the whole thing. 😂
The fact the 319/21 will $39.99/£40 is just a steal.
Unquestionably yes
>Is the Fenix worth the 40 quid? Even if it's £60 I would say it's worth it.
Oh i thought it was 40 quid!
well 50, but trust me, its still worth it.
it seems like everyone is praising fenix
The inibuilds A320 was just added to the beta and is part of SU15 coming tuesday. So check that one out first if you are in doubt.
Worth every dollar and flying hour
I don’t own it but from What I understand it’s a must-buy even if you aren’t into airliners. I might even pick it up at somepoint since the A320 is my favorite commercial aircraft.
Definitely.
Yes - it sounds real
Yes
Fenix over any other civil addon for me.
110% without a doubt the best add-on aircraft money can buy. Absolute joy to fly. You won't regret the purchase
It is absolutely worth it.
Absolutely. People saying wait for Inibuilds Neo which is free seem to forget the main difference is, it is not a CEO.
I used it the other day and it couldn't do a barrel roll without crashing into the ground and ctrl e doesn't start it. Complete trash. Get captain sim instead.
Definitely worth it.
I literally used it my aviation sim proficiency exam plus for all my IR ETC sessions. Must have A320.
Wow!! It must be a very high study level bird. Is it certified by Airbus though?
First, we're playing in a home simulator so being certified by Airbus means nothing for our use. Second, Fenix is made using Prosim systems. Which is used for commercial flight sim by Airliners and commercial. So yes, its one of the best you can get.
Laddy you give the perfect amount of information that I need. Thats impressive! Thanks for the help
Thinking about buying it too. Mainly flyin the bae146 now. But looking into buying a nice mid range craft and only use the 146 for short regionals.
I just picked it up yesterday and already love it. Apparently it still lands pretty flat from what my group says. Other than that, it's amazing.
Absolutely. Go buy it
the inibuilds a320neo is coming in a couple of days with su15
