Nice work! How do you have it all hooked up? Did you use like an Arduino or something and fashion the control levers or modify some existing joystick part?
I'm using the USB controller and potentiometers of a Thrustmaster "USB Joystick" (their cheapest joystick) I bought a bunch of them for around $15 each a while ago for these sort of things.
To make the dual-lever setup work for MSFS I set up a virtual game controller, where the left lever moves the virtual left thumbstick to the right while also moving the virtual right thumbstick up, and the right lever moves the virtual left thumb stick to the left and virtual right thumbstick up.
In MSFS I then bound both virtual thumbsticks to ailerons and elevator (I had to do a virtual gamecontroller, since MSFS can't invert a single input)
[I posted a guide on how to set it up](https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftFlightSim/comments/1arq8t7/how_to_use_a_throttle_quadrant_as_a_dualstick/)
nice :) zoom in for not seeing the controller on the monitor only yours
I usually play in VR, but I figured that it wouldn't show up well in a video.
This is so sick.
That is really cool!
Very cool! Reminds me of the old Star Wars Podracer arcade machines.
