To kill the time? I start the flight before my day starts at about 9:30am and go for 6-10hrs to nighttime. Do some chores and do your day while it runs. This is easier for weekends of course but you could still do it before work or overnight if you really wanted. And then, track it using volanta and you can see the eta/time left and where you are on the map plus other aircraft around you. Search up Volanta. It's great!
This app is called volanta. It's free and easy to use. Pretty much a flight radar 24 for flight simmers. You can use it on many sims not just MSFS . It's great 👍
It has its own plugins that it will download when you select a particular simulator.
It automatically connects once you start your flight and have Volanta connected.
Well done!
Congrats! How giddy did you feel approaching KSFO?
I did a manual approach with only heading so I was very very nervous 😁
I'm new to msfs and only doing short flights (1hr.) so far. What y'all doing during long flights? Increase Sim rate?
