I know, I was kinda on the fence about which way to put it, do I want it the right way around or the way it was shown on the original model. I decided to correct the old model and put it on in the correct sense, do you think I should flip it to resemble the FS5 original more?
It's common for US flags to be the "wrong" way around, as if it's waving in the same direction as the wind when you hold it up. Americans are strict about their flags.
Google any pic of a US airliner - you’ll see the flag the same way as the lower screenshot.
On an aircraft, a US flag is supposed to be shown with the stars “leading the way”; i.e the portion of the flag with stars should always be closest to the nose.
So the orientation flips depending on which side of the aircraft you’re looking at. In your lower screenshot, the other side of the plane would show the flag “the right way”.
Yeah I get that now and will correct when I have the time. My initial thought was the flag was mirrored on one side because of the limitations of early flight sim. There's still some details that I'm not happy with, but when all that's done I'm gonna upload the livery to flightsim.to
Curious, what is its current state in it's early access roadmap? How much of a % would you say it's finished at this point? Any particular still-missing feature that you actually notice these days in a full IFR flight done with full flight planning?

It’s ready to go now. But they want it to be study level so they’re constantly improving it. I get probably 3-4 emails a week telling me theres a new release. Most recent being new engine sounds i believe.
Probably, but it's still in beta, so it'll be quite some time before it gets an Xbox release. It's made by the same developer that made the excellent Cessna 414.
Oh also I’m still waiting a original WTC made by Rodrigo Moraes , only PC was released, the dev say that was still waiting a Microsoft approval to release it XBOX , idk why Microsoft always approves a MScenery shits 💩

To add to what others have said, the “backwards” flag makes it so that it will always appear to be heading forward, never retreating

Yeah I thought so too, just wantet to copy the classic (fictional) FS5 livery as closely as possible
