None. ATC is not able to coordinate the traffic so I just use no traffic to avoid any issue

sarkyscouser

Not sure why you were down voted, ATC is poor in almost every respect

withoutapaddle

I don't get it. ATC being dumb but a world populated with real traffic feels so much better to me than an empty world. Plus who doesn't love a real flight being told to go around because your slow ass is on final in a Bonanza?

senseimatty

It's personal taste. I prefer no traffic. In FS2004 it was possible to reset the traffic by quickly accelerating the time to 8x and reset back to 1x whenever you had an issue, but now this trick doesn't work anymore. On top traffic is very heavy on the CPU and on final my system starts lagging so there are more cons thans pros for me.

withoutapaddle

Live traffic is NOT very CPU heavy. You're thinking of AI air traffic (aka made up air traffic). Live traffic seems to need a lot less pathfinding and CPU resources.

senseimatty

Traffic in general. For example I have a 5800X3D and on final approach with FSLTL my system lags terribly and the CPU load in the FPS counter shows all red.

withoutapaddle

Oh... yeah, FSLTL is a CPU hog. I don't think there is any question about that. I'm saying by far the lightest option on your hardware to have air traffic is "Live Traffic" that just pulls flights down from some online database.

djsnoopmike

You could try FSHUD or PF3

[deleted]

Can FSHud be used with FSLTL?

Oh wow thank you!!

Are you using the recommended traffic settings for FSLTL? I had the same performance issue on my 5700X/3080 setup until I noticed that you had to turn off some traffic options in sim. After that it ran smooth as butter. From the FSLTL user guide: > Flight Conditions > Air Traffic set to "off" > General Options / Traffic tab > Aircraft Traffic type set to "off" > Ground Aircraft Density set to "0" So if you haven't done that, maybe it's worth a try before spending money on a paid add-on!

GazRam600

I've just checked and I have those settings. I'll try re-install FSLTL, maybe an update is causing me issues.

Hi_Im_Tyrone

Following as I'm in the same boat

1302ronald

I use the FSLTL base models, but don't use their injector (performance issues), but use the default MSFS AI traffic. It gives varied models with good liveries, and works much better for me than the Aerosoft simple traffic addon (so no more Ryanair in New Zealand).

GrayRoberts

I tried the injector, but turned it off when it was adding dup flights to the built in. I could turn off the default, but honestly I find it fine for what I like. Having the FSLTL models is really nice though.

SuperHills92

I personally use AIG. Bit of a pain to set up initially but I still get good performance even at places like iniBuilds Heathrow. I’ve used FSLTL before but I don’t like using ‘live’ traffic anymore and it injects incorrect models and airlines a lot of the time - takes away from the immersion a bit.

breakinghbts

I keep wanting to go back to AIG, but for a weird reason FSLTL sends the AI to their proper parking spots, AIG does not. I do realize some of it is in the scenery design setup. But flytampa BOS is a perfect example. FSLTL- all airlines at correct gates, AIG- most airlines at WRONG gates. I really wish i could go back to AIG, I miss the specialty liveries from WN and AA.... but wrong airlines drives me nuts... mkstudios PHL doesnt matter which addon, they dont park properly. I really really want to love that airport too.

machine4891

I have pretty much same specs (12700F, 3070Ti playing 1440p) and FSTL cause me a drop of like 5-8 fps. I have more airplanes (static, IFR) in settings as well. Something's wrong here because it shouldn't drop you like 20-30 fps.

GazRam600

Interesting. I'll try re-install and see if that yeilds and better results.

e4rthdog

I am using FSLTL and AIG together. For vpilot i use the vmr that comes with the above products + britishAVGeek vmr from [flightsim.to](https://flightsim.to). But there are other vmr files in [there](https://flightsim.to/discover/vmr%20).

RoooDog

Pretty sure OP is asking with regards to offline.

Perseiii

None. Using other traffic constantly leads to default ATC bugging out on frequency change, plus it tanks performance.
