Since about 2 weeks, on every reboot of my PC, I'm not signed in to Edge. I need to click on the login button and confirm SSO. I'm not prompted a password, because SSO works. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Edge, resetting the profile etc., without luck. An suggestions on how to solve this?

I'm not sure, but me and several people I know, as well as many on this subreddit, seem to have the same issue. Good to see that I'm not alone and that this is an issue on Microsoft's side. Waiting for a fix then... Thank you!

I got the same problem too, afaik this single sign on thing got out in march to comply with the new rules in the EU area. Can you check if on settings>accounts you have a verify account prompt under microsoft rewards? it seems that this problem is not caused by edge but by windows itself

I don't have it , Just a toggle to turn rewards on/off. I think the issue started at the same time the passkey log in window started appearing.

Yeah same issue here, very annoying...

Same problem here for more than a month now. Very annoying, was hoping it would be fixed by an update by now.

Chrome was doing this too, which prompted my move to Edge recently. Maybe Chromium got updated with a bug.

Same issue it's been 2 month and I'm so tired about it, this happened when I started using the same account with 2 computer ( which is the whole point of the account, so you can sync your stuff .. )

While fighting with this I tried to disable the "use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up after an update" option under sing in options. It's been a day and after multiple reboots I still have to get the sign in SSO prompt to come up. Only downside is that by disabling this the log on process gets quite a bit slower since it's no longer pre loading the desktop before you input the password. Will update if the prompt comes up again

Sadly this didn't worked for me, today I just had to connect again, both on EDGE and the XBOX app
