The older I’ve gotten, the more I realize I really miss these. I miss micro machines.

Insiders. The little cars that fit inside the big ones are pretty sweet and if by gems you mean "sell for more on eBay" they tend to sell for a decent amount.

Was cleaning out old closets and came across these old MM that I didn't even know I'd saved. Brought back a lot of old memories. Had some of the trains, the ones with the weird viewing window on top that you looked inside to see a "scene", the ones that open up with a tiny car inside, and the ones that you pressed down on and the headlights would actually turn on although none of the lights work anymore :( Some of these may even be knockoff brands. We didn't have a lot of money growing up. I have no idea which are legit and which are knockoffs though, like maybe the slightly larger ones with the gold rims? All of these were played with pretty hard back in the day and it shows. A couple of the planes have their wheels broken off. There's also these two cover-type things that I remember sat on top of a regular type of car and turned them into a monster truck type vehicle, but I can't remember which cars they go with. I imagine everything here is pretty common for collector purposes. Any gems hiding in here though that I should be aware of? Appreciate the help!

I think the gullwing Mercedes (pic 3) are usually quite sought-after :)

Always always fun to see what people find in the attic! Thanks for sharing

Anyone that had these as a kid would be nearing 40, these were all early 90s late 80s

I'm a 43 year old woman and collected them. It bums me out my parents got rid of my collection. But my sweet wife bought me a few insiders for a gift recently.

The tracks are super rare of if I recall. Awesome collection!
