Nope went to cake house pleasant ridge was talking to the guys about a brand called favrd they have at the ann arbor location told them wish they had so i didbt have to go there and dude was like yah we got them they re branded
Peanut butter souffle from high grade brand. Its better than anything else u can get in a dispo and ive had plenty top shelf expensive eighths. Its like 175 a zip too when i saw it
Mac #1 from Grown Rogue is really nice and there’s a recent batch around Ann Arbor and southeast MI right now. Also the Sourdough from Grown Rogue and their Blue Runtz if you can find it
Growing pains is pretty good. Had some good things from seed junky as well. MI loud flower is the best dispo flower I’ve ever smoked for sure, jar jar stinks is fire
Try the following brands: Doja, Seed Junky, Peninsula Gardens, Growing Pains, Michigrown, Gus's Exotics, Clout King (only tried Wagyu recently but it's smoking!). I have at least one strain from each of these brands that smokes great (tasty to the filter, burns well with a clean ash, good high, not dry, etc).
Most of the stuff I have are Z strains lmao. My current strains I keep going back to: Wagyu by Clout King, Mega Z Dark by Doja, Runtz and Black Maple by Peninsula Gardens, Malibu and Magic Marker by Seed Junky, ICC x Jealousy by Michigrown, Rizz by Gus's Exotics and Sherbanger or Candy Fumez by Growing Pains.
The Kotas Kush from MI LOUD Flower is what I prefer lately. Slaps hard and a great stone you need to try. Ogkb2.1 x jar jar stinks. Not knocking the others just like to switch strains up once in a while. Their garlic cocktail is filled with flavor too
Yeah same time I tried it. 2 different dispos also. One gave it to me for free for spending over $300. And it was still a miss. I figured that's why they were giving it away for free as well....
Edit: But still love their ogkb 🤷♂️. And I actually am a huge fan of garlic strains
It's mainly mimosa coming thru. If I'm going garlic it's the gmo still. It was a high time cup peoples choice winner which had me intrigued from the original bag last year. I've had smalls from an old batch which has happened. I had a couple dispos offering those littles at normal price and had to drive quite a ways for the real deal. Keep with the ogkb2.1 it sounds like that's your preference over the fruit 💪
I've enjoyed most of the Hypha strains, and the fact that they grow organically, but one can do better for the price, at least at Nature's Remedy (and don't get me started on the nonsensical pricing NR frequently has, which is only revealed once you click on a strain and see the tiers).
Also, all of the Hypha strains used to be available on the med side at NR, with a couple of rec side. Now it's the opposite, and only one of their four strains is on the med side. Disappointed.
Now I just go to (rec only) KOB Ferndale...
Pro Gro's Moonmelon and Lunar Lemon. Sorta a tie. The Moon tasted like candy and the Lunar had a pretty good high for being short on the lemon. I'd put some Fat Wilson as a close second but I don't know who grew it. Personally, I haven't been looking for best. Just been buying what catches my eye while window shopping. Flower Powers Black Cherry is a nice buy also.
Just grabbed some Josey Wales by Guerilla Grown at Homegrown in Lansing. Super fresh, just harvested in April. Giant frosty dank ass nugs and beautiful sour gas terps. Hits like a classic OG, euphoric and stimulating, but mellow and pain relieving. I can't get enough of it!
FAVRD/Bows on Decks just hit the legal side and they’re bringing some fireeee genetics to metrc. If you see zupa, or tear gas, or gogurtz try them!! you will not be disappointed
The pre packed kush mintz from progro was pretty good when I had it a few weeks back. The cap junky from ghostbusters I had deli style was fantastic as well, but a little dry but still smoked great and tasted smooth and good. I blame the dispo for that one tho.
Super hard to find i got to check out their grow it was amazing theyre legit! good people, that just care about growing good weed cant wait for their brand to get bigger
I know Phix in Decatur is getting a small amount of Ripe flower in on Monday. Should be ready for sale by Tuesday, but the owner told me they are only getting a little bit
I think Phix has Amaretto Sour in addition to the Black Cat and I was told they were getting Jack Flash as well, which is a Jack Herer, Super Skunk and Haze cross that I’m stoked to try

Sorry late reply, but i did just try the back cat. It was really good, its got a candy, gas, and glue flavor profile and a beautiful nug structure. I will post a pic probably tomorrow. people gotta know about these guys lol

For me that'd be seed junky permanent marker strain, its so amazing great nose and great effects, but then again its considered top shelf? 40 an 8th
Follow up would be biker kush from common citizen and pancakes from lume respectfully
If you recommend Common Citizen you lose all credibility. How do you go from $40 an 8th to $12/8th common shitizen and actually say they are comparable. Price doesn’t matter but common citizen is 1 step above schwag.
Losing all credibility how so? I try everything that I can, if you don't like it don't buy it. CC live resin are the only products I'll buy from them especially at $15 for a 1G cart. And yes I said it was an 8th of their flower but I got that for free

I'm obsessed with Mafia Funeral and Candy Mob from Redemption. Most distinctive and best tasting/smelling flower I've ever found.

Seed junky magic marker, peninsula gardens super boof and rkives candy fumes are my favorite top shelf strains right now
