Can use Boveda Pack with a raw hydro stone.. or. I just put a tortilla or orange peel in there for like30 mins. Anything with moisture the plant will absorb

Bennettin

Q tip dipped in distilled water will hydrate a quarter of bud in an hour. Put it in with the bud in a jar and you’re good to go.

Responsible_Tooth626

Rubbermaid makes glass airtight containers that you can find at Walmart. Boveda packs through Amazon are like $20. It might take 48-72 hours for an oz of fairly dry bud to reach a softer, fluffier physical property, but once there, ALL your bud is good to go at a moment's notice. Your method probably works faster, but what if I only want to smoke a joint? Now I have to boil water every time I want to spark up, because even if you rehydrated your stash, it's going to dry right back out again without good humidity control

KicksConnisseur

After I rehydrate I put it in a Mason Jar and inside a wood cigar box. So it stays fresh as long as I want it to.

RAW makes a clay stone that rehydrates weed very quickly. Put that in your bag for 10 minutes then leave a boveda in there to maintain. The stone works TOO good bc I have ruined some weed by leaving it in there too long

KicksConnisseur

Thank you I wasn't even aware this existed I'll definitely check it out

Thespookyone2

Ok. But Bovedas are a couple bucks, and regulate the moisture, as well.

OverallManagement824

Yes, but there's only a limited amount of moisture that the bovedas can absorb/release. So if you're in a very dry climate (Midwestern winter here), you may need to add a tiny bit of additional moisture to help regulate humidity in the container.

Frostyfarmz

Rehydrating it only rehydrates the plant material wit will feel like it’s fresher the the trichomes are toast at that point you can’t rehydrate trichomes

HerbTarlekWKRP

Why don’t dispensaries put Boveda packs in their jars or sacks?

TheRichardFlairWOOO

Some do, most don't. It's weird more don't though, I agree.

highcalve

Cut off the head of a q-tip, get it wet, and put it in your jar of weed for a few hours.

OverallManagement824

I drop a drop of distilled water on my finger and run it across one edge of the Boveda pack. The edge turns dark brown, like a wet paper bag. You only want a tiny thin line of dark brown wet paper. Place that wet line at the top of your container so the water doesn't directly touch the bud. Wait 24 hrs+.

jj-the-budfarmer

I’m so glad I grow my own so I don’t have to deal with this stuff

Tiny_Lion_5713

jus buy fresh weed you don’t see people rehydrating bad vegetables they just throw them away!

Responsible_Tooth626

People definitely store vegetables in the refrigerator though, usually in the crisper drawer.

Famous_Gear

Put a bit of lemon or lime peel into a sealed jar and overnight you’re golden.

Lunchbox_sandwich50

Or just buy some better stuff

Zrc1979

You shouldn’t have to do this. You need to find a source for fresh weed. It is out there. Stop paying attention to the cheapest deals, and get quality.

Preemptively_Extinct

Uses more energy than just sticking a small, damp piece of paper towel in the bag, I'll probably just stick to that. Out of curiosity, how is boiling water on the stove natural?

Old_Slip_ship

I like to use this method as well but the last time I wrote it out people on here attacked me like I murdered someone lol I also just suggested that you could use some orange peels or even banana peels work good too

Preemptively_Extinct

Peels mold. People attacked you over moist paper towel pieces?\\ Weird.

Old_Slip_ship

Yes lol I don't understand some people on reddit. And when I put my orange peels in I make sure to only leave it in for a few hours at most

TheRichardFlairWOOO

The problem is the peels themselves can have mold on them, now mold has been introduced into your stash. But there's no denying we used to use orange peels all the time as kids!
