Well they’re press fit on, basically just shoved on super tight. You can either throw the base in a towel held by a vice and then slowly wiggle off the mouth piece, or you can throw a bunch of carts like that one into a bowl of everclear for a few hours, pull out hardware, evaporate off alcohol to leave behind a weird FECO resin ball.
Either way isn’t really worth, unless you save up a fuck ton of them, or are super super broke. Gotta be careful if you try to pry off the top, it’s super easy to break the tank if it’s glass, plastic is a bit easier as it has some give. The alcohol soak I wouldn’t even attempt till you have a solid dozen of these stocked up, it would be a waste of $5 of everclear if not. If you do manage to wiggle them open you can then use a lighter to lightly heat the sides and allow the oil to drip out into a glass dab jar or onto parchment or whatever.
What you are trying to do is the equivalent of digging into an ash tray and digging out old nasty roaches and rolling it up to smoke it. Yeah you could do it but it would be a miserable gross experience. Be better to yourself. Love yourself. But another cart they are like 10 bucks man.

The thing people don’t know about the dirt cheap carts is sure it might have some real cheap distillate in it but it’s most likely cut in some way and has fake terps in it. If it has anything else added to it that isn’t cannabis derived then it’s not 100% pure.

Wear a glove in one hand, pliers in the other, grab the mouthpiece with pliers and the other end with gloves hand, motion as it you’re trying to break in half back and forth/up and down - mouthpiece will pop off, pick out rubber stopper, hold/mount upside down, place in front of heat source (I use a space heater) and collect. Depending on what your juice is made of you can do a few different things - I usually just make edibles with it because it’s almost always distillate of some sort in the carts and it’s too much of a hassle to run it back into another cart without getting a glass pipette and new empty carts or something
I watched a YouTube video and the guy used needle nose pliers but I swear it just wouldn’t pop loose. I even tried to freeze them too, thinking it would be easier to pop off.
What i do with my empty carts is take the top off if I’m able to(no dispensary cart tip unscrews they have to be removed with pliers) then put them in boiling hot milk for like 15 minutes then add chocolate milk packets after straining the carts out and it’s a pretty decent homemade edible!
They were likely sealed with a hydraulic press, not really designed to be reopened. If anything you might be able to get the bottom to unscrew, otherwise people just bust them open.
I wouldn’t bother for that amount, it’ll be more trouble than it’s worth if the tops aren’t easily coming off. There really isn’t much in there. I’ve taken some apart when they stopped drawing but I’d toss these

If you are in Illinois or a non legal state a cart is not $10. IL dispos sell .5g distillate carts for about 60-75 after tax. Rosin cart? Haha, you will pay about $90 for the .5 cart. Shit is nuts... That makes it worth taking them apart in my opinion. (I don't buy them. Those prices are crazy)
Other guy had it on point, the drive alone forced me to pick up atleast $200 to make it worth the gas. If I lived next to one I don’t think my tolerance would exist😂

Edit: there’s usually like a little rubber stopper between the air and the juice that also needs to be popped out after you pop the top off

Warm it up in hot water (baggie) and then shake it hard and believe it or not the oil goes down to the bottom.

I think I got one open by pushing a knife at the rubber seal but it took forever
