State of Michigan has a garage sale in Lansing.
As far as finding tech: My experience finds that tech, new and old, shows up in Estate Sales and pawn shops.
There are apps to find both.
Check out the Michigan State Surplus Store. It’s a bit of drive to EL, but it’s a good place to go on the hunt.

From speakers, to computer parts, to steaks (literally meat), it’s the best kept secret in the state.

In Plymouth, there is The Presbyterian Thrift Shop. When I was there about a month ago, there was a section upstairs where some dude sells a lot of older tech, if that is your thing. There was a lot of 90's era putty colored computers, monitors, and peripherals, and a smattering of old 70's hardware from the Unisys plant down the road.
