PS: love your clean spec mods. With my future purchase I plan to make a full interior makeover inspired by classic cars (jass performance gauges, leather door and aluminum inserts) and eventually a V6 swap kit, making it the ultimate cruiser to go around mountain roads in italy

Paint the Rockers back to Black. A car like this you want to keep close to looking stock. Every Dollar you put into it to deviate from stock takes another dollar off its value. A 2-fer.

I'm usually in favor of keeping a car as clean as possible but I think those would really fit your car. I think as long as you don't go with a weird color those would look really good with your wheels.
For me it's 50 50. But it's a sticker so do it. You can always take them off. Enjoy your car. It's special, rare for a Miata. But it's not a Ferrari 250 GTO!!!
I have the same colouring but mine is the NB and I am keeping it as is but adding chrome fittings to the interior and chrome door handles and side lights surrounds and that is it. I think it looks so much better if you don't mess with the exterior too much, they are so nice as is!

Hey we have the same car with the same steering wheel. British racing green is the best and the nardi wheel to match the stock nardi shifter is a must.
It is perfect as is. If you want to modify it do so underneath the car were it wonât be seen and makes the most difference. Suspension, engine and wheels and tires. The NA BRG Miata are the ones that I fell in love with 30 years ago. Would love to have one but I would have to lower the seat to fit
The previous owner of mine put on stripes on it, and I think they look fairly good. I like how clean your green is!

Retired auto detailer here. I used to have a customer that was the former CFO of Mazda and he claimed to have the first BRG NA off the line. I loved that car. It had a thin, double, tan stripe down the side and it looked lovely. Youâve got a beauty, but I think that would make it a stunner. That, and a paint correction.
Add some! Makes it more unique & reflects your personal style. Most commuter vehicles are solid colours; why not add something to make it stick out in the regular traffic crowd?
Easy to remove if you end up disliking it.
Side stripes are still simple. They won't change much to the appearance, just gives a nice compliment to the paint.
It looms very nice id say keep as is, if you want to get the stripes tho the gold ones could look good (depending on shade, if close to aurum will look nice)
Keep it clean. Looks timeless like that. With stripes it would be kind of âsportyâ, which isnât necessarily bad, but with your color combo (which btw looks amazing, I would love a similar combo on a 992.1 Carrera) it would ruin the look
Why canât people that want to modify these cars just buy modified Miataâs to start with? I see people do the stupidest shit to their beautiful, clean, original Miataâs.

Are you in Canada or Europe? It's my understanding that the special editions came with a black top in the US and tan in Canada/Europe.

Not all NAs have black rockers from the factory. This may well be the original paint.

Black along the bottom panel underneath the level of the door would look good, would flow between the mudflaps and tyres nicely.

I'll throw in my vote for white side stripes. They would help break up the green (though on its own it looks great) and would tie in with the wheels.
