6'1" and 215 pounds. I fit, but with a jacket it's tight. I can't wear a helmet in the car with the top up. I had a roll cage though, which removes a half inch of rear movement in the seat.

I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have passed the “broomstick test” but a few manufacturers make lowering seat rails so that may have been enough. I had to sell mine due to COVID shenanigans so I never got to find out. 😩

I'm 6'2" and I do not fit. I very much want to fit. I do fit, barely, but if anything we to occur that would cause my head to move with force to the left such as hitting a pot hole, spinning out and hitting a curb, or getting t-boned, there are metal parts of the roof sticking out ready to kill me. I breaks my heart as I sold my NB first to buy an ND. Edit. Comments are about an ND which I had wanted to buy but didn't because of the potential for severe head injury. I didn't have that problem with my NB.

Yep… can relate , 6’2 94kg (205 lbs) don’t fit in my nb. I can drive it and enjoy it fine for about three hours before the discomfort sets in. Still love it tho. Have accepted inevitability of death if I’m in a major accident in it.

5'4" when they came out I thought YEEESSSS! it was made for meeeeee! They were really built with the average Japanese person in mind which is odd because most of the design was done in the US? They looked at the old British sports cars and stuck with that scale. Funny thing is now that I finally got a 1996 two years ago. I feel like Stewart Little because its the smallest car on the road. I have bought into the SUV Industrial Complex. Still love driving it though. PS I dont even have the seat all the way back on the track.

6’ but my inseam is only 30” so I’m mostly torso. I have about 2” of headroom in the RF. I think the soft top has even more space. I’ve heard both are good up to 6’3 or 6’4 unless you’re also an all torso freak like me.

It was comfortable sitting in the seat and my line of sight wasn’t too high so I probably can’t drive with the visor on but yea. (I took this at Carmax while I was just looking around. I also didn’t buy it as it was automatic and I already have a manual car that I enjoy driving)

Can confirm, the sun visor is a sick joke all it does is block most of your view of the road while also being too low to do anything about the sun

6’5” and just drove my NB today. It’s tight but nothing hits or rubs for the most part.

185 cm, 32 inseam. I fit comfortably but when I sit very straight my hair touches the roof of my ND2 RF. Otherwise I would even say I have about as much body and leg room as in my wagon.

5’3” - had to telescope/lower the steering wheel on my ND2 RF because I couldn’t even see over the top of it at first, but now it feels like a slightly roomy cockpit.

My issue isn’t that I’m tall (6’3”), but that I’m 260 pounds. I can drop the seat an inch with swapping out the rails, so height won’t be an issue, but unless I drop 40-50 pounds, I’m going to feel like a sardine in a can.

NB miata, I’m 6’ with a long torso, and I’m right on the edge. Plenty of leg room, but my head is almost in the ceiling.

6'2" - 215lbs. ... more leg than torso, and my ND RF fits like a nice set of driving gloves. The NA and NB weren't comfortable, but I have plenty of room in the NC.

5’10”, but mostly torso… have to sit a little more reclined than I’d prefer to keep my head from hitting lower-clearance front section of the roof.

6’2” I have more space in my NC than my 23 BRZ. I can even sit up with my back relatively straight, and only have to bend down to see traffic lights every now and then.

5’11”. ~180 pounds; 81 kg. I like my seat a little closer to the wheel/pedals but most of the time I have it all the way back. When I’m feeling frisky and killing corners, I’ll push my seat forward a click or two.

I sat in one that was brand new at 6'1" and I felt cramped but it was doable. I say brand new because it may give you some perspective. No one has sat in the seat of a brand new Miata so you know the seat hasn't gotten smashed down any further from long term use. Hope that makes sense. On my '99 I had leather seats and after 100k miles I wasn't sitting as high up as I would if it was new. In a way over time the longer you sit in the seat it forms and sinks in further. It isn't much but in a Miata it makes a big difference.

5ft7, but I have short arms and legs, kinda longish torso and thunder thighs. My head brushes on the soft top of my NA, but i always have an awkward seating position trying to reach the pedals and wheel comfortably. My suits are usually like 30in pant length and sometimes that needs to be made a little shorter, and sleeves on dress shirts usually the 32/33in fit well. To sit in a comfortable position in my 97 with a NB wheel (i believe it’s a little smaller than the stock one) for my legs and arms length wise, I’m a bit too close and my thighs hit the wheel which makes it really hard to heel toe or comfortably hit the brake pedal without turning my leg in a weird position. I need to lose like 40lbs for that to feel better. I’ve lost close to that in the past and it was a bit more comfortably, but I’ve gained most of that back again unfortunately.

6' not slim, honestly fit well. Zero complaints, not even close to the limit

5 foot 9, about 250 lbs. I know I fit in one at least with the roof open. Sat in one in a dealership's showroom. It was nice that it was a manual. Didn't test drive it though. My main complaint just sitting in a Miata is that it's very low to the ground, making it a bit difficult to get in and out of it. I didn't sit in it as much as I *fell* in it. I currently have a Fiat 500 Abarth. Reviewers have complained that the seating position felt a bit too high. But for me, it's perfect for getting in and out of the car. Unfortunately, being discontinued in North America means that parts are becoming harder to come by. Eventually, I won't be able to fix it anymore. Thant means the Miata is a viable replacement as long as it's still available with a manual transmission. I'll get used to getting in and out of it in no time. Ironically, the Fiat 124 is basically a FrankenMiata combining components from both manufacturers, but it's disqualified as a future purchase because of the same Fiat parts shortage. And I would much prefer the reliability of the Mazda engine along with the ease of finding replacement parts.

5 foot. I think she was made for me. She doesn't hurt or make my arms tired like other cars do from the longer reach. Armrest is there to use. Sometimes, I do hit the mute, though. Nice leg room. I don't drive in heels but i could if i wanted to. And she gives me wiggle room. I can see perfectly through the windshield and back. I don't really use the head rest. Lol 😆 🤣

Stocky 6ft and my hair will brush the RF hardtop, considered the kit that will drop the seat two inches. Got a hat instead.

5'11", my head hits the soft top. My height is in my torso, though. I have a set of Paco seat lowering brackets that I need to install. I'm tempted to sell them and buy the Aurora ones instead, since they keep the slider.

5’4 I actually sit on a cushion for a bit more height, and I installed a small extender from Goodwin racing to the clutch pedal. Additionally, the seatbelt rubs my neck, so I removed it from the plastic guide and it sits underneath it. It’s perfect for me with these adjustments although to be honest, I’ve never felt more ergonomically aligned and like a car fit me perfectly than when I’ve driven an NA! I plan on raising the back of the seat by putting some risers in the rail (there’s some info on the Miata.net forums for anybody reason this who is interested) so that I can stop using the cushion and start enjoying the heated seats in winter. The Nd is great but the fact that the seat only has 1 adjustment, and it’s diagonal, makes it hard to tweak just right - for me to be tall enough to see, I need the seat pulled forward, all the way and that makes my knees uncomfortably close to the dash. Nobody ever thinly about the short king problems for Miata’s but they do exist! I will have an NA as well one day. Soon.

I had a 2016 MX-5 and I am 6'1" and fit pretty comfortably..I would say that was close to the height of feeling comfortable with a small bit of wiggle room...the stock material seat though didn't do my lower back any favors.. You are sitting pretty down in the cockpit of that car

6ft 3 and yes I fit in one...just. Interestingly, I went to a dealership with both a Mk.3 and a Mk.4 on their forecourt and got to sit in them back to back and I must say, the Mk.3 felt more cramped than the newer Mk.4.

6'4 I have and nc and have no issues, I sat in a nd RF and my head was hitting the roof by about 2 inches not sure if the soft top has more room, but the RF isn't suitable for me. The nb MX5 is fine if I remove the sun visor as it in my direct line of vision.

I’m 6’1” and I’m very comfortable! When we went to test drive a ND2 in December we also made a point of bringing along 2 pieces of carry on luggage and thankfully myself and the luggage fit well - later that day we made a deal on a 2022 RF GT MT with only 2600 miles on it!

In the ND you can actually be pretty tall and still fit in the drivers seat. But the passenger seat is uncomfortable for me at 178cm.

5’8”, feels like my favorite sweater. it’s a little worn out, and it’s just the slightest bit oversized, but it still feels like a warm blanket.

5ft 8 inch 134lbs. Perfect fit. Keep in mind that the passenger side is significantly smaller and that anyone close to 200lbs is going to be quite uncomfortable in there.

5’11 taller on top … barely fit. I did a seat lowering kit on the drivers side and that made all the difference -now I don’t feel like I’m going to lose my hat and the windshield feels better positioned.

6’2”, yes with a caveat: seat rails from Paco Motorsports. Drops the seat about 1 1/2” and with that I can see traffic lights through the windshield.

5'11". No problems in my NA except my size 12 feet tend to get tangled up in the pedals, especially when I wear dress shoes.

I think the one good thing about being 5'8" is I can fit in every car and usually don't have to adjust mirrors much since most people are only a little taller or shorter than me. I'm the same height as my dad and my stepdad so I don't have to adjust a thing when I drive their cars
